About the Diploma
Inspired by Al Gore's file, An inconvenient Truth? With global climate change and rising oil prices, there is a pressing need to find new methods of energy use and conservation - and you could be the one to make a difference with the Diploma in Clean Energy Management (CEM). This diploma will train you in the key areas of clean energy and energy management so that you are able to address energy issues from both the supply and demand side of things. You will also get to learn in an exciting and hands-on environment at the state-of-the-art facilities such as out Solar Technology Centre. Here,you may even get to help gather and analyse date on solar energy for a nation-wide project called the Clean Energy Research & Testbedding (CERT) programme! Finally, an intership with a leading clean energy technology or energy management company, either locally or abroad, will let you put your knowledge into good use. You may also be chosen for exchange programmes with prestigious overseas universities such as Bochum University of Applied Sciences in Germany!..................................................................................................
