Hello, my first post for the Yr 2020 😄 So let's talk about miracles:
Often times we pray for an improvement, a change in our situations so things can be better. We pray for miracles and when it happens, we thank God or external factors. Not realising we contribute to our own miracles.
If something Good happens to You, it is becos you are there at the right time, with the right attitude and doing the right actions.
Rather then wait for miracles, change yourself to create the miracles that you seek.

Every sunrise, every new day brings with it a chance to start over. You can choose to look at each new day with the same attitude, and everyday will be the same... Or you can look with a fresh new angle and try something new, attempt an activity that you'd never try before, or challenge yourself to face your fears. Even in this climate of self-isolation, there are activities that you can try at home: read a new book, learn a new language or skill, or learn yoga from online videos... Staying home can be fun if you adapt a fresh, positive perspective 😉 Stay home & be safe ❤️

We all want to be autonomous and self-sustaining, it feels good to be able to complete goals on our own. But we need to recognize when we need help, and know how to ask for help. And be able to give a helping hand to others when they need it too.
Independence is good, but to be able to trust and rely on others, and be reliable in return, is more wonderful.

When we place more importance on what we could be doing rather than what we are actually doing, than what comes up is restlessness and dissatisfaction.
Focus on the Present
Be in the Moment

Qiong Yao 瓊瑤 is one of the most published Chinese writers. She is the equivalent of JK Rowling in Chinese Literature. Several of her works have been adapted into drama series, with very high viewership too. You'd think such a successful writer would have been much admired growing up?
No, Qiong Yao only studied until high school. She attempted college entrance exams 3 times, but could not qualify. She was even once so sad at her poor results, that she attempted su***de, believing that she is the black sheep of the family (her parents were well-educated and her siblings good at their studies).
Qiong Yao tried and tried, but she was good at only Chinese, and did really badly at Maths, Science, etc. She finally gave up her dream at a university education and got married. It was only after marriage, that she started writing and became Qiong Yao (this is her pen name, real name is Chen Che).
If you do not see improvements when working at your weaknesses, switch and work on your strengths instead. Sometimes, by focusing on your strengths, you can blossom into the best version of you. You do not need to follow the same path that everyone does, create your own path that suits your strengths.

Sometimes when things go wrong, when plans fail to materialize, we feel anger. And unintentionally lash out at the one(s) who we feel are responsible for the failure. Such anger can be directed at ourselves too, resulting in guilt and self-blame.
Try to remember to be kind, to the ones who might have wronged us or caused the failures, and to ourselves too. Learn from the mistakes and grow from it. Learn to let go of the heavy feeling of failure, so you can grow from the mistakes and inspire, plant new seeds, for another plan or goal.
Life is a series of ups and downs. But if we hold onto the downs, we will not be able to go up when opportunities present itself.

When you take care of the people who work with you, when you keep your promises and meet your deadlines, when you are a man of value, you would be successful in what you do ❤️

Not every struggle that you have is due to circumstances. Sometimes you do have a choice, by changing your perspective. Although circumstances are still the same, by changing the way you look at it, can make a whole lot of difference.
