On 21 April 2017, Green Ambassador club celebrated the YED. This is the day for the youths to show their love for the environment. The theme for this year is "The Earth is Warming, Can You Feel It?". The club organised a litter-free activity to clean up the CCK Zone 3 and a bazaar to raise the awareness of global warming. We invited CCK residents to join us. Our guest of honour is Dr Goh Mong Song.

As part of the Youth for the Environment Day celebration, our GAC youths went around the 2 campus cafeterias to spread the importance of reducing food waste. Patrons (staff and students) were encouraged to finish up the food ordered and post their empty plates on instagram

GAC supported the launch of the mozzie wipeout at SW with SW Mayor Ms Low Yen Ling and Guest of Honor Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State in the Ministry of Health,. After the launch at Hong Kah CC the team did house visits and hawker centres to educate the public on the mozzie wipeout. Flowers were given out to commemorate Mothers' day.
