🤔 What if the most important conversation you'll have this year... hasn't happened yet?
👥 It's waiting in a room full of people who care as deeply as you do.
🗓️ On 18 JULY 2026, Jerlyn — IAF Certified Professional Facilitator Master, CPF Assessor, and founder of Change@Werk — is facilitating something rare:
🪢 Catalysing Connections: The Power of Facilitated Community Building
🔇 This isn't a seminar where you sit and listen. This isn't networking where you swap cards and forget names.
🚦 This is a participant-driven methodology where you set the agenda, you lead the conversations, and you walk away with connections that actually mean something.
🌎 In a world drowning in surface-level interactions, this is your invitation to go deeper.
✦ Real dialogue. Not performative discussion. ✦ Genuine community. Not a LinkedIn connection request.
✦ Ideas that matter. Not another slide deck.
🪪 Whether you're a seasoned facilitator, a community builder, or simply someone who believes that the right conversation can change everything — you belong in this room.
🧠 No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity, your passion, and an open mind.

🚀 Why Visual Thinking is the Ultimate Business Superpower
🤯 In a world of information overload, the teams that see the big picture are the ones that win the market.
📊 We often default to spreadsheets and long-form memos, but visual thinking isn't just about "pretty pictures"—it’s a strategic tool for clarity, speed, and alignment.
👩🏼🏫 Here are the top 5 reasons why visual thinking is a non-negotiable for modern businesses:
1. 🏇🏽 Radically Faster Comprehension
The human brain processes visuals up to 60,000 times faster than text. When you map out a process or a strategy, your team "gets it" in seconds, not hours.
2. 🫱🏻🫲🏾 Alignment & Shared Understanding
How many times have people left a meeting with three different interpretations of the same goal? Visuals create a "source of truth" that ensures everyone is literally on the same page.
3. 🪢 Unlocking Hidden Patterns
Data in a table can hide trends; data in a visualization reveals them. Visual thinking helps leaders spot gaps, risks, and opportunities that are buried in the noise of raw information.
4. 🎮 Boosting Creative Problem Solving
Standard linear thinking leads to standard results. By using mind maps, storyboards, or rapid prototyping, teams can brainstorm non-linear solutions and innovate faster.
5. 🧠 Increased Retention and Engagement
People remember 80% of what they see, compared to just 20% of what they read. If you want your strategy to stick, you have to make it visual.
🛑 The Bottom Line: If you can’t draw it, you probably don’t understand it as well as you think.

What is Process Facilitation? What does it look like? How does it differ from Learning Facilitation?
These are common questions posed by those who are new to the facilitation practice. In process facilitation, learning about the content is not the objective of the participants, as they already possess the knowledge and experience to help themselves. Like any skill, it takes deliberate practice and has many styles and techniques that can be used.
With this in mind, IAF Singapore is excited to launch our very first Facilitation Pow-Wow session! This is a place where you can learn more about facilitation and where members can practice their process facilitation techniques and methods.
The event is open to all and is free to participate in! So join us at this time where you deepen your knowledge about facilitation and perhaps secure a time to practice the craft more.

🚀 Top 3 Reasons Why“Psychological Safety in Asia” Matters More Today
✊ As AI reshapes roles and global tensions ripple through the economy, our workplaces in Singapore face a deeper test — not just of skills, but of TRUST and COURAGE.
👉🏽 Here are the TOP 3 REASONS why understanding psychological safety—especially in the Asian context—is vital today:
1️⃣ AI is changing work, fast.
When automation creates uncertainty, people need space to ask questions, share doubts, and innovate without fear.
2️⃣ Culture shapes behaviour.
Imported frameworks don’t always fit. We need culturally grounded ways to foster honest dialogue in diverse Asian teams.
3️⃣ Tough economies test teams.
As companies restructure and resources tighten, psychological safety isn’t “soft.” It’s what sustains learning, adaptability, and performance.
📦 Let’s unpack what this really means for facilitators, leaders, and organisations here in Singapore.
