My education and work experiences have taught me how to reach learners of all types and personalities. I earned my Bachelor of Science from top-ranked M.I.T. in mathematical economics. As an IGCSE and IB teacher at Singapore's United World College of South East Asia, my average test scores were high in part due to research-proven “concept-based learning” techniques. And in low-income urban Los Angeles, my AP Calculus students had such high pass rates and average scores that one of my colleagues kindly called it "some Jaime Escalante wizardry."
