Our little learners enjoyed a magical campfire experience filled with storytelling, songs, laughter, and marshmallow roasting. 🌿✨

Gathering together around the campfire gave children the opportunity to build friendships, develop confidence, and create special memories in a warm and joyful environment. 💛

📚✨ World Book Day at Astor ✨📚

Our school was transformed into a world of stories as students arrived dressed as their favourite book characters—bringing imagination, creativity, and a whole lot of excitement with them! From classic heroes to magical creatures, every costume had a story to tell.

We came together for a whole-school assembly where students proudly showcased their outfits and shared a little about their characters—celebrating our shared love for reading and storytelling 💫

A special highlight of the day was welcoming guest author Rachelyn Gordon. Rachel is a passionate children’s writer known for inspiring young readers and encouraging creativity through storytelling. During her engaging session, she gave students a behind-the-scenes look at how stories come to life—from first ideas to finished books—sparking plenty of imagination across the school ✍️📖
