How well do our teachers know their students? 🎒👀

We asked our students to anonymously write down their favourite food, one personality trait, and the sentence they are most afraid of hearing from their teacher.

Then, our teachers had to guess who each card belonged to!

Some students were recognised instantly, while others left their teachers completely confused. And the final honest answers? Priceless. 😂

A few moments from Beijing 🇨🇳✨

Our founder, Teacher Nili, recently attended the 2026 Global Smart Education Conference in Beijing, exploring how AI is shaping the future of teaching and learning.

One of our biggest takeaways was seeing how AI is already being applied in real classrooms — from personalised learning support to tools that help teachers better understand students and reflect on their teaching. We also connected with educators and education technology teams, opening up possibilities for future learning and collaboration.

More importantly, the conference made us reflect on one question:

How should children learn in the age of AI?

For younger children, technology should support — not replace — play, exploration and real human interaction.

For primary and secondary students, learning will increasingly require more than finding the right answer. Students need to ask better questions, think critically, make independent judgements and learn to use AI as a tool rather than a shortcut.

And as learning changes, the role of teachers evolves too.

Technology should serve education, not the other way around.

We returned to Singapore with new ideas, new connections and plenty to continue exploring. 💙

Because as education evolves, teachers must remain learners too.

National Day Challenge: Guess the Chinese names of SG MRT stations! 🚇🇸🇬

With National Day just around the corner, we gave our students a fun little Singapore challenge! Instead of showing them the station names directly, we used funny visual clues and puns for them to guess the Chinese names of different MRT stations. 😂

From confused faces to sudden “AHA!” moments — their reactions were too good! 🤭
