For many of our families, being far from home isn’t always easy.
No grandparents to call for a last-minute favour. No aunts and uncles nearby. No familiar support network just around the corner. For lots of people in Singapore, that’s simply part of the expat journey.
You know what they say! To raise a child, it takes a village.
That’s why we strive to be more than just a school, we’re a community where children and parents are known, families are supported, and lasting friendships are made.
When your old support group isn’t nearby, it’s comforting to know you have us!

We are lucky to have a large and safe garden area of a whopping 35000sq ft for the children to enjoy!
Based on the UK early years national curriculum (EYFS), Rain Trees International Kindergarten in Holland Village (Singapore) offers a caring environment for children up to 6 years old to learn through a hands-on play based approach. The school has relocated to Holland Road and is in a beautiful 4500 sq ft property which has been wonderfully renovated to make it a home away from home for our childr

If you've ever watched a child build a fort from cushions, splash through puddles or become completely absorbed in imaginary play, you've seen something important.
Play builds brains, bodies and confidence!
Have a read of our blog about the research behind play-based learning, and why making time for free play really does matter!

Children experience so many “firsts” during their preschool years. The first friend they choose on their own. The first choices they make without you.
We see that growing confidence soar as our Rain Trees children solve problems and find their place in the world without you beside them.
These moments might seem small, but they are huge.

We know our children! We know their personalities, their interests, their favourite stories, and often even their siblings.
Rain Trees’ Parent & Toddler Group is a lovely way for families to experience a sense of connection from the very beginning.
It's a relaxed morning of play, exploration and discovery, but it's also the start of becoming part of the Rain Trees community.
Over the summer, our sessions are taking a short break until August. Will we see you and your family then?

Our final week of the school year was filled with endless laughter and creativity as we celebrated Spirit Week!
We kicked things off with some wonderfully wild styles for Crazy Hair Day, followed by a vibrant sea of Spots or Stripes. By mid-week, we were fully embracing Summer Vibes before welcoming some of our favourite Disney Characters to school. We are wrapping up the year in the cosiest way possible with Friday's Pyjama Party!
Thank you to all the staff and children for bringing so much energy to our final days, and to the parents for helping them dress up and join in on the fun.

What an unforgettable Wine and Cheese evening! Our Rain Trees community came together in the best way possible for our Art Auction fundraiser, and we are still buzzing from the energy in the room last Friday.
Our parents showed incredible generosity, bidding enthusiastically on the exquisite, one-of-a-kind art pieces created by our talented children and staff. Every single dollar raised is going directly to SPIN, a fantastic charity that supports single parents in need. We were so pleased to welcome representatives from Community Services, who spoke beautifully about their vital work and inspired everyone to open their hearts and bid even higher.
A massive shoutout to our outstanding parent auctioneers, Berny and Ivan! They brought total charisma and showmanship to the stage, keeping us laughing and working absolute magic with the bidding gavel. Special thanks to our very own Admissions Officer, Charlotte, who prepared all our food platters.
It was a wonderful night of socialising, laughter, and community spirit, all for a truly worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and made the night such a resounding success!

Meet Jong, our Fireflies Teacher.
Nationality: Korean / Singaporean
Born here and raised in Seoul and Busan, Jong later spent 10 years in Melbourne, where she earned a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) from the University of Melbourne.
She joined Rain Trees in 2023 after working across various kindergartens and long daycare centres. Jong firmly believes that young children learn best through meaningful hands-on learning, collaborative efforts, and effective communication with families.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys pottery, rollerblading, and travelling for snowboarding and diving trips.
Come and meet Jong and the rest of the Rain Trees team on your visit!
Our Fireflies classes are for children aged 2.5-3 years old.

Children brought up in Singapore may study locally in their early years, but go to uni in Europe, build careers in Shanghai or the US or settle somewhere entirely unexpected. Their world is unlikely to be confined to one country or one system. The early years shape how confidently they will move through it.
