We concluded a chapter in Shuqun's history with the Homecoming Dinner on 23 November 2018. We would like to thank all of you who came down, and we hope that you managed to catch up with your friends. Here are some photos from the event - feel free to tag yourselves in the photos (more to come!)

The Shuqun Media Club participated in MOE's "Our Schools, Our Stories" photo story contest, and their entry was one of the winning entries for the theme on "Priceless Moments"!

** HOMECOMING DINNER - 23 NOVEMBER 2018 **

We are pleased to inform that you will be able to get tickets for the Homecoming Dinner on 23 November 2018 at the following link:

Details of the dinner:
Date - 23 November 2018 (Friday)
Venue - Shuqun Secondary School
Dress code - Smart Casual

Brief Programme:
1800 - Cocktail Reception
1845 - Commemoration and Thanksgiving (all guests to be seated by 1845)
2000 - Dinner

Please take note of the following:
1. Tickets are priced at $20 each (free seating), or $200 for a table of 10 (a round table for 10 will be assigned).
2. The link allows you to reserve the tickets. Payment and collection will be done at the Shuqun General Office from 15 Oct (Mon).
3. All reserved tickets must be collected by 9 November, and any uncollected tickets will be released to guests on the waiting list.
4. As there are limited tickets available, the reservation link will be deactivated once all available tickets have been taken.

**TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATIONS 2018 - 30 Aug 2018**

We have received some queries from former students, who have asked when the Teachers' Day celebrations are and if they can come back to visit the teachers. Here are the answers:

-Teachers' Day celebrations will be on 30 Aug 2018 (Thur)
-Former students who wish to come back to visit your teachers can do so between 12.30 and 1.30pm on 30 Aug. Do try and make prior arrangements with the teachers so that they know you're coming.
-Please note that all former students will need to sign in at the security post when visiting.

** HOMECOMING CARNIVAL - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! **

It's been almost 2 weeks since we had our Homecoming Carnival on the 30th of June, and we would like to thank everyone who came down to the carnival! It was nice to see so many of our Shuqun's "extended family" return for this event. We hope you had the opportunity to catch up with friends, and also to meet up with your former teachers. The carnival was a success because of the support from all of YOU! :)

We still have our Homecoming Dinner on 23 November 2018, so do watch this space for more details!

Just less than 2 days to the Homecoming Carnival!

Here’s some important information that you may want to take note of:

1. The Carnival starts at 10am and ends at 5pm.
2. Come to the carnival to enjoy yourselves and to reminisce your time in Shuqun with your friends and loved ones. We also ask that due consideration be shown to others at the carnival, as we expect a large turnout which includes young children.
3. The currency for payment for the booths is the carnival coupons. Carnival coupons are sold in denominations of $10 (made of 2 x $2 and 6 x $1 coupons). You can still purchase the coupons on the day of the carnival - payment by cash only.
4. If you are driving to the carnival, please park at the neighbouring HDB car parks. This is to reduce vehicular traffic in the school compound, for the safety of all.

**HOMECOMING CARNIVAL - 30 JUNE 2018**

Dear Shuqun Alumni, a number of you have been asking for details regarding the Homecoming Carnival that we had announced. The details of the carnival are as follows:

Date: 30 June 2018 (Saturday)
Time: 1000 - 1700 hrs
Venue: Shuqun Secondary School (450 Jurong East Street 21, Singapore 609604)

Carnival coupons are sold in denominations of $10 (comprising 2 x $2 and 6 x $1 coupons). We will update shortly on how you can purchase/reserve the carnival coupons.
