✨ MAI Alumni Homecoming, 18 April 2026

MAI had the pleasure of hosting its inaugural Alumni Homecoming cm Hari Raya Gathering last Saturday. Alumni from different cohorts came dressed in their best Hari Raya outfits 🧕🏼

For some, it was their first time stepping foot into the new MAI campus. The atmosphere was filled with smiles and laughter as everyone saw familiar faces and mingled with one another while enjoying the buffet spread 😋

Alhamdulillah, it was a successful event of reconnection and strengthening of bonds. A heartfelt gratitude to our Alumni Homecoming Committee for organising this special event! We will be having events with more alumni involvement in the near future so hope to see you then! 💚

Artificial Intelligence & The Future of Education (AIFE) Conference, 11 - 12 April 2026, Yokohama, Japan 🇯🇵

At the 2025 AI Prompt Challenge organized by MUIS and AI Sg, the champion team from MAI as well as selected educators from JMS madrasahs won themselves a seat each at the AIFE Conference in Yokohama, Japan. The conference brought together educators from 26 countries, including Australia, Brazil, and Brunei.

Principal Ms Aisha Abdul Manaf, HOD Science & Head of COEC STEM, Mr Solehan Asmore, Geography & Math Teacher & Early Adopter Ms Siti Wardah Pitchay, and ICT Executive Mr Del Rasouli Abdul Rashid, were actively engaged in meaningful discussions and exchanges, deepening their understanding of AI and learning from fellow educators around the world 🌏

They returned with valuable insights on embracing AI responsibly — not by restricting its use, but by guiding its integration in education. These learnings will be shared with fellow educators to further enrich teaching and learning practices at MAI.

We also extend our appreciation to MUIS-AISG for this meaningful partnership, providing madrasah educators with the opportunity to harmonise the brilliance of technology with the wisdom of education.

May our educators continue to grow and excel in fulfilling their amanah of nurturing students to become thinkers, learners, and leaders 🤲🏼
