Words have the power to inform, inspire and make an impact, and our young speakers did just that! 🗣️✨We are incredibly proud of our students who participated in the inaugural S2 Cluster Public Speaking Competition, where 50 speakers from across our cluster schools competed for the coveted Top 3 Speaker awards across two divisions. 🏆👏 Demonstrating confidence, clarity, and composure, our speakers stepped up to share their voices and ideas before an audience and panel of judges. Their courage and dedication reflect the strong oracy culture we continue to nurture at BRPS. 💪🌟
A huge congratulations to our outstanding speakers:
🏆 Krayden (5S) – 3rd Place, Upper Primary Division
🏆 Vinisha (3S) – 3rd Place, Lower Primary Division
We are proud of you for speaking with confidence and shining on the stage!

Through our recent Education and Career Guidance (ECG) activities, our students explored their interests, discovered their strengths, and learnt more about the many possibilities for their future. 🌟
The programme began with an inspiring sharing by our alumna, Ms Janice Lee, who spoke about her journey from being a student at Blangah Rise Primary School to becoming a Human Resources professional today. Her story encouraged students to stay resilient, embrace a growth mindset, and make thoughtful choices as they shape their future pathways.
Our Lower Primary students also confidently shared about their passions and aspirations, while the Careers Day Fair gave students the opportunity to interact with parent volunteers and learn more about different professions and real-world experiences.
Students left the programme inspired and excited about their future possibilities. Through these meaningful experiences, they learnt that every occupation plays an important role in society and that their interests and strengths can help them contribute meaningfully to the community. ✨

It is our great privilege and honour to share that Blangah Rise Primary School’s choir, Rising Harmonies, has been awarded the Certificate of Distinction at the 2026 Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation.
This marks the school’s first participation in the S*F in over ten years, making this achievement even more meaningful. Our young choristers dedicated months of effort to learning, practising, and refining their performances, strengthening both their vocal abilities and teamwork.
Through perseverance, discipline, and resilience during long hours of rehearsals, and with the unwavering support of their families and teachers, they rose to the occasion. Their performance showcased skillful singing, strong coordination, and a commendable sense of unity. We are immensely proud of their accomplishment.
Congratulations to Rising Harmonies on this outstanding achievement!

We commemorated International Friendship Day with the theme “Forging Friendships in a Complex World,” a meaningful occasion that highlighted Singapore’s relationships with neighbouring countries and the global community.
The commemoration began with a morning presentation in the school hall, followed by engaging classroom activities led by Form Teachers to deepen students’ understanding of the day’s significance.
Students also participated in interactive recess activities at the Mini Library, where our PSG members hosted booths showcasing diverse cultures and customs from around the world. Through these thoughtfully planned experiences, students developed a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity, strengthened their understanding of regional interconnectedness, and were inspired to contribute positively to a cohesive and globally connected society.
