Today we mark the 89th death anniversary of one of the brilliant minds in history, one of, if not the greatest fundamental figure in science, physicist, chemist and Nobel laureate, Marie Skłodowska Curie who died on this day 4th July 1934 in Passy, Haute-Savoie, France.
She was the first woman to win a Nobel prize, the first person and only woman to win the Nobel prize twice, the only person to win the Nobel prize in two scientific fields and the first woman to become a professor at the university of Paris in 1906.
