"She finally made it." β€οΈ
Those four words made our day.
Every year, there are students who find themselves just a few marks away from the grade they're aiming for. When they finally break through, we know how much that result means.
Congratulations to Student P on achieving AL1 for Oral for the first time! We are so happy to celebrate this milestone with you! We hope this gives you even more confidence as you head into your PSLE Oral exam. π₯

11 marks.
From 20/40 to 31/40.
That's the improvement that Student S, a P6 student from our Oral Masterclass, made in her recent Oral Prelims π
When Student S first joined our Oral Masterclass, she lacked confidence, especially for SBC. She often struggled to think of examples to support her ideas, and her answers tended to be too short.
As the Masterclass progressed, she became more confident in organising her ideas, learnt how to support her opinions with relevant experiences, and responded with much greater confidence.
Looking at how far she has come, we couldn't be happier for her! π₯°
Congratulations, Student S! Keep up the good work! We'll be cheering you on during your PSLE Oral exam! π₯³

β³ Countdown to PSLE Oral: 1 week
To support your child's preparation in this final lap, we've compiled a selection of actual past-year PSLE Oral questions.
While no one can predict exactly what will be tested this year, these questions provide valuable insight into the themes and question styles that have appeared in previous PSLE Oral exams.
As your child attempts these questions, consider not only whether they can answer them, but whether they can organise their ideas logically, support their opinions with relevant examples, and respond confidently and naturally.
[Note: Q1 from 2024 and before (old syllabus) have been omitted due to the change in exam format. Q2 & 3 remain relevant and useful for practice.]
π If your child would benefit from one final opportunity to fine-tune these skills before the examination, our final PSLE Oral Workshop runs are currently open for registration.
Students receive structured practice and personalised feedback from MOE-trained teachers to help them approach the examination with greater confidence.
π Following the PSLE Oral exam, our PSLE Paper 2 Workshops will commence to help students prepare for the Written Papers.

Two students may present the same idea during the Oral exam, yet receive very different marks.
Why is that so?
The difference often lies in how well they explain and develop that idea.
A brief response may answer the question, but stronger responses go further. Students need to explain their thinking, support it with relevant examples or experiences, and bring their response to a meaningful conclusion.
In this post, we've shared part of a sample response using our SEEE technique to illustrate how a simple idea can be developed into a strong Oral response.
With less than two weeks to the PSLE Oral examination, now is a good time to focus not just on practising more questions, but on improving the quality of each response.
π Our final PSLE Oral Workshops are just around the corner and will be the last opportunity for guided practice and personalised feedback before PSLE.
Following that, our Paper 2 workshops will commence to help students strengthen the key Paper 2 components in preparation for the Prelim and PSLE written papers.
