A big congratulations to our Galaxy boys who stepped onto the competition floor at the Lion City Classic and gave their best across their events. From training sessions in the gym to presenting their routines in the competition arena, we are proud to see how far they have come in their gymnastics journey. 🤸‍♂️✨

Competition is never just about medals or placements — it is about courage, growth, discipline, and learning to perform with confidence under pressure. Every routine completed, every skill presented, and every challenge faced is a valuable part of their development as gymnasts. 💫

🌟 Evaluation Week is coming soon, Galaxians! 🌟

From 4 to 10 May 2026, our recreational gymnasts will step up to showcase the skills they have been learning in class across different apparatus. This is a special week for our students to demonstrate their progress, confidence, and growing capability in gymnastics. 🤸‍♀️✨

At Galaxy Gymnastics, evaluation is not just about passing a stage — it is about recognising progress, celebrating effort, and understanding where each gymnast is in their learning journey. Every skill attempted, every correction made, and every improvement shown is part of the process of becoming better from within. 💫

For many of our students, this will be a chance to:
⭐ perform skills more independently
⭐ show better control, confidence, and technique
⭐ work towards their Galaxy Gymnastics Awards Proficiency Medal
⭐ take the next step in their gymnastics journey

A gentle reminder to parents:
Regular attendance will help your child feel more prepared and confident for Evaluation Week. As always, every child progresses at their own pace, and needing more time to master a stage is completely normal and part of the learning process.

What an out-of-this-world weekend celebration at Galaxy Gymnastics with Luella and all her wonderful friends! 💫 From learning gymnastics skills to sharing the joy of movement together, it was a special session filled with laughter, energy, and fun.

There’s something extra meaningful about celebrating your birthday by doing what you love most — and for Luella, that meant getting to move freely, safely, and confidently in the gym while showing her friends some of her favourite gymnastics skills. 🤸‍♀️✨

We loved having everyone at Galaxy and watching everyone enjoy the freedom to explore, play, and celebrate in a space made for movement and fun.

Get ready for another exciting season of movement, learning, and growth at Galaxy Gymnastics.

📅 Term 2 runs from 21 March to 17 May 2026

Here are some important dates to note:
⭐ Galaxy Gymnastics Awards (GGA) Skills Evaluation Week: 4 to 10 May 2026
During this week, students will be assessed on the skills they have been learning in class. The GGA evaluation helps our coaches identify each gymnast’s progress, strengths, and readiness for the next stage of learning.

Our GGA system is designed to recognise development across a wide range of gymnastics skills and movement patterns. Students who meet the required competency will be awarded accordingly, while those who need more time will continue building towards their goals at their own pace. Every gymnast progresses differently, and the evaluation is part of their learning journey.

🚫 No Classes:
• 3 April 2026 (Friday) — Good Friday
• 1 May 2026 (Friday) — Labour Day

We look forward to seeing our gymnasts continue to build confidence, develop new skills, and shine brighter in every class. 💫

It is Term 2, and that means it’s time for Evaluation Week! From 4 to 10 May 2026, all our recreational gymnasts will have the opportunity to showcase their confidence and capability as they execute various gymnastics skills across different apparatus!

🌟 This is a fun and exciting evaluation designed to help our Galaxians track their progress, build confidence, and take the next step in their gymnastics journey!

🎖️ All students who successfully complete the test will be awarded a Proficiency Medal!

📌 Important Notes for Parents:
✅ Not meeting all competency skills for a stage is completely normal! These assessments help our coaches tailor future lessons based on each student’s abilities and readiness.

✅ Advancing to higher stages requires time and commitment. Typically, students attending one class per week progress through Stages 1-3 comfortably. However, Stages 4 and beyond often require greater practice and dedication to master skills confidently.

✅ Ensure your child continue to be regular in their attendance for Term 2 classes so they have time to be prepared, to participate in this evaluation and continue their gymnastics development.

❌ No makeup classes or re-tests will be scheduled if your child is absent during Evaluation Week.
