HOME Academy offers skills training to migrant domestic workers, including English, computer literacy, cooking, baking, caregiving, healthcare, nursing aide and hairdressing courses.

Last Sunday, we bid farewell to our long-time volunteer and teacher, Jetky Amores 😢 Jetky not only taught cooking classes at the Academy since 2012, she also took courses as a student and was an active member of many HOME community groups, including our guitar club. Her talent, leadership and contributions have been invaluable to our work at HOME 💪 We will miss her, but wish her all the best for her future endeavours! 🥰 See you again soon Jetky!

Guess what? HOME Academy now offers swim classes! 🤯 In partnership with AquaDucks Swim School , we have opened a domestic workers swim class, starting every Sunday from 7 June 2026. Only 8 spots are available, so hurry up and join us for a splashin' good time!

Last week, we were thrilled to have a team of dedicated healthcare professionals conducted a Children’s First Aid Workshop for students in our NC2 TESDA Caregiving Preparation Course 💪 They learnt about fever management, allergies and asthma, seizure and choking first aid, common injuries and child safety! Thank you to the team for the fun-filled and enriching workshop 🥰🙌
