Field Trip to IMM Giant Hypermarket – 24 April

In line with this month's theme, “Fruits and Vegetables,” the children went on a delightful field trip to IMM Giant Hypermarket on 24 April. The moment they heard about the trip, their faces lit up with joy. The excitement of riding the school bus and exploring a real supermarket made it a day to look forward to.

At the hypermarket, the children were amazed to see the colourful and wide variety of fruits and vegetables neatly arranged on the shelves. They saw bright red apples, juicy oranges, sweet bananas, grapes, pineapples, and even exotic fruits like dragon fruit and kiwi. In the vegetable section, they spotted crunchy carrots, leafy spinach, fresh broccoli, lady fingers, cucumbers, and shiny red tomatoes.

The most exciting part of the trip was when each child got the chance to choose one fruit and one vegetable to buy and bring back to school. It was a fun way to help them learn about healthy food choices, colours, textures, and names of different products.

It was a meaningful and hands-on learning experience that made healthy eating come alive—and most importantly, the children had lots of fun!

The Hari Raya celebration was a vibrant and joyful occasion where children immersed themselves in Malay traditions and cultural activities. Dressed in beautiful Malay traditional attire such as Baju Kurung and Baju Melayu, the children radiated excitement as they took part in various festive activities that brought the spirit of Hari Raya to life. The children watched a PowerPoint presentation that introduced them to the history, significance, and customs of Hari Raya. They learned that Hari Raya Aidilfitri, also known as Eid al-Fitr, marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. It is a time of forgiveness, gratitude, and togetherness, where families and friends come together to celebrate with prayers, feasts, and acts of generosity.
A highlight of the celebration was playing traditional games like Capteh, Congkak, and Five Stones. Children also joined the Ketupat Walk, a lively relay with woven rice cakes, and the matching green pockets game, learning the significance of Hari Raya's green packets.
As the celebration continued, the children danced to traditional and festive Hari Raya songs, further enhancing the joyful atmosphere. The event was filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful cultural experiences, making it an unforgettable celebration for everyone involved.
Through these activities, the children had a wonderful time while gaining a deeper appreciation for Hari Raya's significance in Muslim communities. The event fostered cultural understanding, unity, and joy, ensuring the true spirit of Hari Raya was felt by all. Wishing you laughter, joy, and peace this Hari Raya and always!

Exploring our neighborhood – February 24

On February 24, the children embarked on an exciting field trip within the neighborhood, exploring various local spots just a short walk from the school. Their first stop was the community garden, where they marveled at the lush greenery filled with different vegetable plants and colorful flowers. They enjoyed learning about how plants grow and thrive in the garden.

Next, they visited a cozy coffee shop, where they were fascinated by the variety of drinks and freshly baked bread on display. The delicious aroma filled the air, making the experience even more delightful.

The last stop was the mini-mart, where the children’s excitement peaked as they discovered a cooler filled with different flavors of ice cream. Their joy was evident as they eagerly pointed out their favorite flavors.

Overall, the children had a wonderful time exploring their community, learning new things, and enjoying the simple joys of their surroundings.

孩子们收集树叶，通过自己的想象力，用树叶拼贴出房子、道路、公园等社区常见的景物。他们用剪刀剪出房子的形状，用细碎的叶子拼贴出道路，用水彩笔画上翱翔的鸟儿、金灿灿的太阳、路旁翠绿的草地、五颜六色的花朵、人们在社区的道路上自由自在的穿梭着……这一唯美画卷展现出了生机勃勃的社区。我们的活动，不仅锻炼了孩子们的动手能力，还加深了对社区环境的认识。活动结束前，老师引导孩子们清洁桌面、整理美术用具等，培养了他们保护环境，爱护家园的意识。我们的活动，不但提升了孩子们的艺术表达能力，而且还学会了珍惜大自然的馈赠。孩子们用落叶变废为宝，充分展现了对美好生活的热爱。

—我的天才幼儿园

岁序更新，蛇年已致。2025年是蛇年，我们满怀期待的迎来了华人新年，这个日子对于华人来说是意义非凡的，到了这一天师生们都会穿上传统服装来到学校共同庆祝华人新年，一起了解华人新年的由来；体验华人新年蕴含的文化魅力；感受新年的氛围，一起“大团圆。”
首先由我们的大朋友带来精彩的舞狮表演，并且由扮演财神爷的小朋友送出金币给其他的小朋友，寓意财源滚滚，万事如意。其次各班小朋友为我们带来欢快的新年舞蹈，小朋友们每一个都手舞足蹈兴高采烈。之后老师分享了有关于春节的传说、春节的由来、以及春节的习俗等等，小朋友们从中知道了春节我们都会做些什么，例如：贴春联、放鞭炮、吃团圆饭、拜年等等。然后是我们的重要环节—《捞鱼生》老师和小朋友们都拿去筷子一起捞鱼生，捞的是恭喜发财、幸福平安、吉祥如意。之后我们开展了有趣的新年活动小游戏，小朋友们都玩的非常开心。最后给予大家最诚挚的新年祝福，祝愿大家万事顺意、好运爆棚、开心幸福，所得皆所愿，所愿皆所成。

Beary Fun Gym Fieldtrip

On 23rd of January, the children of My Talent Childcare embarked on an unforgettable adventure for their first-ever field trip to the Beary Fun Gym! The excitement was visible as they arrived, eyes wide with curiosity and anticipation. The gym’s vibrant and child-friendly atmosphere immediately captured their attention, inviting them to explore the array of fun and challenging activities.

The children began their journey by jumping on the trampoline, their giggles filling the air as they bounced higher and higher. They eagerly tackled the foam brick pit, climbing through the soft, colourful blocks and feeling a sense of accomplishment with every step. The balance bridge was a test of courage and focus as they carefully made their way across, cheering each other on with words of encouragement.

One of the highlights was the climbing wall, where the little adventurers showcased their determination and strength as they scaled to new heights. They also raced around the open gym space, rolling, and running with pure joy and boundless energy. The variety of activities kept them engaged, fostering their physical coordination, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.

The field trip to Beary Fun Gym was more than just a day of play—it was an opportunity for the children to build confidence, develop social skills, and create lasting memories with their friends. It was truly a day to remember!

On December 23rd, My Talent Childcare Centre was transformed into a festive wonderland, brimming with the joy and magic of a “Traditional Christmas.” The day began with a heartwarming presentation about the true spirit of Christmas, followed by the children’s excitement as they watched the enchanting Story of Santa Claus. Their faces lit up with wonder as they embraced the magic of the season.

The fun continued with a series of lively games, where the children’s laughter echoed throughout the room, fostering teamwork and friendly competition. As part of the celebration, the children exchanged thoughtful gifts, each one excited to give and receive tokens of love and friendship.

The energy in the room reached new heights when the little ones donned their Christmas costumes and took center stage to sing and dance to festive Christmas carols. Their joyful performances brought smiles to every face, filling the room with warmth and holiday cheer.

It was a beautiful celebration of Christmas, where the spirit of togetherness, kindness, and love filled the air. The memories created that day will be cherished for years to come—a reminder of the magic that Christmas brings to our hearts.

我的天才幼儿园全体师生欢聚一堂庆祝“屠妖节”。屠妖节是印度教的重要节日之一，象征着光明战胜黑暗、善良战胜邪恶。

这一天，老师和小朋友们穿着鲜艳的节日盛装，一起点亮油灯迎接光明！

首先我们观看了关于屠妖节故事的短视频，了解屠妖节的来历。为了让小朋友们更加了解印度文化，老师邀请了身穿印度传统服饰的幼儿上前，给大家展示服饰，并一一介绍传统服饰的特点。小朋友们品尝了一些印度美食，还在老师的指导下尝试烹制印度煎饼。之后，全体师生以歌舞的形式，沉浸在屠妖节这个欢快的节日气氛中。

歌舞结束后，各班级幼儿围坐一起拍照留念。最后，小朋友们回到课室体验手绘艺术——汉娜。此时此刻，汉娜艺术在幼儿的手上变得丰富多彩，富有童趣。有花朵、 彩虹 、心形 、卡通人物......
总之，这是一次无比愉快的体验，也是一个让大家团聚、互送祝福的节日。

On October 30, 2024, all teachers and children at My Talent gathered together to celebrate Deepavali, one of the most important Hindu festivals, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.

On this day, teachers and children wore vibrant festive attire and lit oil lamps together to welcome the light! We began by watching a short video about the story behind Deepavali, helping everyone understand the origins of the festival. To deepen the children’s appreciation of the culture, teachers invited children dressed in traditional Indian clothing to the front, where they showcased their attire and explained the features of each piece. The children then tasted some traditional food and even tried making Indian pancakes under the teachers’ guidance.

Following this, all teachers and students enjoyed singing and dancing, immersing themselves in the joyous atmosphere of Deepavali. After the performances, each class gathered for group photos to capture the memories. Finally, the children returned to their classrooms to experience the art of henna. The children’s hands became vibrant canvases, filled with playful designs of flowers, rainbows, hearts, and cartoon characters.

Overall, it was a joyful experience and a holiday that brought everyone together to share blessings. At the end of the celebration, the teachers and children of My Talent wished everyone a happy Deepavali!
