Did you know? An uncommon, yet, telling sign that your child may be facing emotional distress is if they require some form of face covering to fall asleep.
A child may do this due to sensory overload - and may need to block out all distractions to be able to be calm and eventually fall asleep.
How does this affect their well-being and academics? - You may ask.
Unable to regulate their emotions while sleeping could surface when they study as well. It could result in a lack of focus or spike in anxiety during stressful situations.
