A warm and meaningful meeting where everyone shared about the art of letting go. Each sharing touched the heart and reminded us to release what no longer serves us. Letting go can open the door to peace, healing and a lighter heart.
๐ค Sergeant at Arms:
Linda, as the Sergeant at Arms, beautifully set the stage for the meeting with warmth and positive energy. She created the right environment for everyone to feel comfortable and connected. Her thoughtful opening encouraged everyone to share their thoughts on the art of letting go. She set a welcoming tone for an engaging and meaningful meeting.
โจ Toastmaster of the Day:
Shanmuga Priya, as the Toastmaster of the Day, guided the meeting with confidence and grace. She introduced every role player and speaker clearly, highlighting each one thoughtfully. Her descriptions added meaning and appreciation to every speech. She ran the entire meeting smoothly, making it engaging and enjoyable for everyone.
๐๏ธ Opening Address:
Our Club President Yimon delivered the opening address and warmly welcomed all members and guests. Her words gently brought everyone into the spirit of the meeting.
The address highlighted the theme โArt of Letting Goโ and its importance in daily life.
It helped everyone step into the meeting with focus and a meaningful mindset.
๐ Education Enrichment Session:
Tejasri served as the Grammarian for the session and introduced the Word of the Day โrelinquish,โ and she encouraged everyone to use this word in their speeches. After each speaker, she gave suggestions and shared feedback on their performance. At the end, she highlighted how everyone performed and offered helpful tips for improvement.

โฆ Gao Ping delivered the speech โGrow When Stretch to the Goal,โ highlighting the importance of pushing beyond comfort zones.
โฆ Jia Jun presented โWhich Sounds Practical?โ with clear and thoughtful insights.
โฆ Ting Wei shared the speech โFreedom,โ expressing meaningful reflections on personal choice and growth.
โฆ Menaka delivered โFrom Google Search to Self Growth,โ showing how learning can go beyond information into personal development.

Yimon led the Table Topics session in a creative and engaging way.
She gave each speaker a topic and asked them to present it as if they were selling a product. Speakers had to talk from a selling point of view and ask the audience who would โbuyโ it. This activity was purely for speaking practice and not actual buying, helping everyone build confidence in communication and persuasion.
๐ Evaluators:
A heartfelt thank you to all the evaluators for their kind words and sincere feedback. Kamal, Gao Ping, Jun Song, and Luck Sien each took the time to gently guide and encourage every speaker. Their feedback was not just about improvement, but about helping each voice grow with confidence. We deeply appreciate their effort in shaping a supportive and encouraging learning space.

Yamuna kickstarted the meeting and introduced the theme. Members actively shared their perspectives, creating a warm and thoughtful atmosphere.

Last eveningโs meeting was filled with inspiring reflections, meaningful lessons, and honest conversations about success and failure. ๐ก Members shared how failures are not something to fear, but something to learn from. The atmosphere was motivational, encouraging everyone to rethink the way we see setbacks in life. Of course, some members jokingly admitted they would still prefer success without the โfailure packageโ included ๐
๐ค Prepared Speeches Highlights:
Shankar delivered his speech โFrom Control to Clarityโ ๐งญ, emphasizing that a successful manager is not someone who constantly pressures the team for deadlines, but someone who protects the teamโs energy, manages people wisely, and keeps everyone focused on purpose instead of pressure.
Yamuna delivered her Ice Breaker speech โBetween Thoughts and Wordsโ ๐ฌ, sharing the importance of preparation, communication, and choosing the right words with the right emotions in different situations.
Jason Tan delivered his Ice Breaker speech โNot Quite According to My Planโ ๐ถโโ๏ธ, reminding us that life may not always go according to plan, but what truly matters is focusing on the present and taking the next step forward confidently.

What a wonderful and energising evening meeting it was! The theme sparked thoughtful sharingโsome leaned towards simpler, phone-free days ๐ต, while others appreciated the comforts of the present. The room was filled with laughter, reflections, and vibrant energy!
Our Club President, Yimon, got everyone on their feet with a lively โBUT & ANDโ exercise. What sounded like a simple word game quickly turned into a fun challengeโpartners had to respond using only โbutโ or โand.โ Safe to say, the room was buzzing with creativity and quick thinking! โก
