⛵🦁 Discovering Singapore Through Stories and Creativity! 🇸🇬
This week, our children went on an exciting learning journey to discover the story of Prince Sang Nila Utama and how he discovered Singapura. Through storytelling, the children learnt about his adventurous journey across the sea and the meaning behind the name “Singapura.”
The children also enjoyed reciting a simple “Sail Boat” rhyme with actions and to extend their learning through creative expression, the children designed and made their own paper sail boats using their imagination and creativity. 🎨🖍️
It was a fun-filled week of storytelling, language development, creativity and discovery! 🌟

The children joyfully celebrate Singapore’s birthday through spirited songs, captivating stories, and hands-on art. As they sing beloved National Day classics and listen to tales of the nation's history, they also bring their creativity to life by crafting their own paper-plate Merlions and hand-painted Singapore flags, connecting with their heritage through engaging play.

🌏✨ Racial Harmony Day Celebration 2026 ✨🌏
Today, our children came together to celebrate Racial Harmony Day with joy, unity, and togetherness! The programme began with everyone singing “The More We Get Together,” followed by N2’s lovely performance of “It’s a Small World After All.” K1 and K2 then joined together to perform “So Many Colours, So Many Shapes.” 🎶🌈
The children learnt about the importance of celebrating racial harmony, respecting different cultures, and embracing diversity. They proudly showcased their beautiful ethnic outfits and captured wonderful memories through group photos. 📸👗
Back in their classrooms, the children explored creative art techniques from different parts of the world, including Australian dot painting, Indonesian glue batik, Indian Madhubani art, and Japanese Koinobori. 🎨🌏
It was truly a fun-filled and meaningful day where our little ones learnt that although we may come from different cultures and backgrounds, we can all live, learn, and grow together in harmony. ❤️🤝
