💦 Our K1 and K2 children had a blast!

Water play isn’t just fun. It encourages confidence, coordination, social interaction, and teamwork as children learn through play and exploration together.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of Term 2! From splashing with friends to zooming down the slides, there were smiles, laughter, and joyful memories all around as we welcomed the June holidays.

Exploring the World of Bees 🐝

Our K1 Launchers and K2 Captains have been learning more about the world of bees, focusing on the different roles within a hive, from the queen bee to the worker bees and drone bees.

They’ve especially enjoyed discussing each role and bringing it to life through stories, class discussions, reenactments, and hands-on activities. Through this, the children begin to understand how each role contributes to the hive.

There’s been lots of questions, connections, and sharing of their own thoughts as they learn together.

Field trip day! 🌿

From the moment our N2 Astronauts got on the bus, there was so much anticipation and excitement. At the Botanical Gardens, every spotting felt like a big deal, especially the monitor lizard, which everyone couldn’t stop talking about. They were so happy to see the different plants and animals they’ve been learning about come to life.

They pointed things out to one another, shared what they saw, and enjoyed exploring side by side with their friends.

A big thank you to our amazing teachers for making the day so special.

A snapshot into our N2 Astronauts class, where a story is coming alive.

After reading The Foolish Tortoise by Eric Carle, the children step into the story, reenacting it through play. This allows them to revisit the sequence, language, and characters in a meaningful, hands-on way.

Through this, they build deeper understanding, express their ideas, and develop confidence in communication, aligned with the MOE NEL Framework’s focus on purposeful play and rich teacher-child interactions.
