We are pleased to announce that Professor David Chan, Director of the Behavioural Sciences Initiative and Professor of Psychology at SOSS, has been awarded the Ministry of National Development (MND) Medallion for his distinguished contributions to NParks. The award was presented by National Development Minister Mr Desmond Lee at the ministry's award ceremony on 15 November 2024. We are also thrilled that Prof Chan is a two-time recipient of the MND Medallion. He first received the award in 2018 from Prime Minister Mr Lawrence Wong (who was then the National Development Minister) for his various distinguished contributions to MND.

We are thrilled to announce that Professor David Chan, Director of the Behavioural Sciences Initiative and Professor of Psychology at SOSS, has been appointed as a Research Fellow by the Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC). The CLC, established by Singapore’s Ministry of National Development (MND) and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE), appoints distinguished experts in urban development to guide its strategic national research and knowledge-sharing initiatives. As a CLC Research Fellow, Professor Chan will lend his expertise to drive impactful research and capability development. Congratulations Prof! 🎉
