Acquiring knowledge is often associated with education, but it is a fact that it is a lifelong process.

The PACT cycle demonstrates that learning is an iterative process: our learning evolves as we develop and we utilise early knowledge for later understanding.

Learning brings about changes in the way we act, think and/or feel about ourselves, other people and the world around us. Such changes may be permanent or temporary depending on our own perceptions of the importance and relevance of the gained knowledge.

In summary, learning is an internal activity and a

Kopi has a rich history in Singapore, dating back to the 19th century when European settlers in colonial Singapore had a habit of drinking coffee. They imported arabica beans, which merchants coated with sugar to preserve it during shipping. When locals picked up the habit as well, many could only afford the cheaper robusta beans grown in Indonesia.

In traditional style, the beans were brewed using a flannel 'sock' filter, finishing off with sugar and evaporated milk. And the Singapore Kopi - a thick, sweet coffee - is thus born.

If youโ€™d like to learn brew your own kopi, register for our '๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ ๐——๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ธ๐˜€' course.

Effective communication at work is key to success, and this involves understanding and adapting to different personality types. Whether you're interacting with a co-worker who is introverted or extroverted, it's important to listen actively and be respectful of their perspective. Remember to also be clear and concise in your own communication, and don't be afraid to ask for clarification if needed. By practicing empathy and open-mindedness, we can create a positive and productive work environment for all!

According to data from the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore, the median hourly wage for cleaners in the city-state is SGD8.50 as of 2021. This is lower than the minimum wages in many other high-income countries.

With the Progressive Wage Model (PWM) in place, workers in the cleaning sector can also achieve higher income! The PWM helps to bridge the wage gap by ensuring that lower-wage cleaners also have the opportunity to progress and achieve higher pay through training and skill development.

With the right training and education, you can increase your pay and advance your career in the cleaning industry.
