Through the practical life activities, children learn to take care of themselves and their environment. It’s not only chores, children learn about Grace and Courtesy, refine their gross and fine motor skills as well. They become self-sufficient, which boosts their confidence and self-esteem. As children gain independence, they also become more responsible, which is another essential trait in the Montessori method.
