在日常生活中，小朋友接触昆虫的机会虽然不多，但好玩有趣，充满奥妙的虫虫世界常常都会引起幼儿们的好奇心。为什么虫子有六只脚，有些八只脚，有些却有很多只脚呢？
通过学习阅读（树上的鞋子），幼儿们在小毛虫做鞋子的简单过程中，不但可以了解毛虫的生活习性，居住环境以及它蜕变成蝴蝶的过程，还可以认识不同种类的昆虫。

Children role-play as police officers and engage in imaginative play that allows them to explore themes of authority, responsibility, and problem- solving.

老师以球的实物：玻璃球，高尔夫球，木球，乒乓球，橡胶球和藤球让幼儿轮流把不同的球放入水中，然后让幼儿进行观察，哪些球会浮在水面上，哪些球会下沉在水里。通过此活动让幼儿能更进一步地理解浮沉的原理。

Show how to hold the spoon and transfer the macaroni, by each spoonful, into the empty bowl without spilling way.

身处竞争激烈的大环境，孩子长大后容易变得凡事争先，不肯让人。礼让的传统美德越来越难以传承和保留，因此，通过 ”孔融让梨“ 的故事来传达谦让和仁爱的美德。
幼儿在通过阅读这个故事，能够去体会礼让的真正含义，并认识到做人要为别人着想先人后己。
