Highlights from Super Leaders Camp for Prefects at Northoaks Primary School | 8 July 2022

These two P5 Prefects were briefing the P3 Prefects about the Scavenger Hunt that their team had organised specially for them.

The scavenger hunt activity was planned, set up and conducted by the student leaders themselves. While these two student leaders were giving the instructions, the rest were busy setting up the checkpoints and ensuring the smooth planning of the activity with very minimal help from the facilitators.

We empowered the student leaders to lead the activity and we were amazed by the outcome and the quality of the planning right up to the delivery of the activity.

Well done Northoaks Primary School Prefects!

Using hands-on math experience to build conceptual understanding.

Super Leaders Camp 2022 1 July 2022 We kicked off Day 1 of our Prefects Camp with a Super Leaders Challenge! The #Prefects were grouped into teams made up of seniors and juniors and tasked to complete various challenges around the school compound. Following the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership model, our Prefects were given the opportunity to display leadership qualities, confidence, initiative and problem solving skills. It was heartening to see the senior prefects lead by example by 'Modelling the Way' and ,'Inspiring a Shared Vision' while working through the activities. These activites were designed to encourage our prefects to 'Challenge the Process' to find different solutions.
