On the Day of Pentecost, the breath of God turned a
room of waiting disciples into a movement of "burning
hearts."

For us as Methodists, we remember another moment
of divine faithfulness: May 24, 1738, when John Wesley
felt his heart "strangely warmed."
He finally trusted that Christ had taken away his
sins—even his—and saved him from the law of sin and
death. That is the essence of Emunah Amanah.

God is not just faithful in the abstract; He is faithful to
you.

This song is an invitation to move from "doubts and
fears" into the "arms of God." Whether you are waiting
for your own "Pentecost" or simply need to be
reminded of His everlasting love, may these words
warm your heart today.

Me."

This song “Emunah Amanah (Faithful and True)” brings the two distinct but inseparable sides of God's character:

Emunah: His stability, like a pillar or a rock that doesn't move.

Amanah: His integrity, like a signed contract or a promise that is legally and spiritually binding.

As 24 May is also the Day of Pentecost and for the Methodists, the day we remember John Wesley’s heart-warming experience, I pray that through this song, the promised Holy Spirit ignite and fan that flame in our hearts as we remember and recall God’s faithfulness and trustworthiness in our own individual lives.

Come Holy Spirit, be real to us once again!

As a father sings out to his child, you are precious in my sight, so does God do the same to us by reminding us in His Word that He will “never leave nor forsake”

As a father sings out to his child to express his love, so did God when Jesus went to the cross.

As a father calls out to his child to believe in him, so does God when the risen Christ called Thomas to touch His hands and feel His side

May we have our own heart-warming experience, may we experience what John Wesley experienced that day in 1738, where be finally trusted that Christ had taken away his sins—even his—and saved him from the law of sin and death.
