🎵 NEW MUSIC OUT NOW: A Modern Creed (This Is My Faith) 🎵
“This is our faith, our firm foundation The anchor through the stormy seas…” ⚓️✨

3 years ago, I wrote a song called “I Believe (A Little Disciple’s Creed)”. It had a catchy tune with simple lyrics of faith taken from the Apostle’s Creed. It was written for little ones to have a child-like faith in the truths of the Christian faith.

3 years later, just as we grow physically, so does our own spiritual maturity, especially when we are faced with stormy seas and challenges in life. This is the backdrop to this hymn: “A Modern Creed (This is my faith)”

It is released on my late mother’s 7th death anniversary. Mrs. Theresa Poh lived out a faith that stood as a firm foundation for our family.

Releasing this track feels like the most fitting way to hour her memory—by declaring the same gospel truths that anchored her life, and passing them forward as a shared prayer for us all.

Whether you are navigating a season of quiet doubt, deep grief, or standing strong on the rock of Christ, my prayer is that this hymn serves as an anchor for your soul.

Dedicated in memory of the late Mrs. Theresa Poh (1954–2019). ❤️

Grateful to Joo Chiat Social Club for the opportunity to introduce and from the Music Mind Games curriculum during their social club gatherings the past 2 Tuesday mornings.

We sang, we signed. We even sang in solfege and signed familiar tunes. Something so familiar but yet unfamiliar.

The second session was an session where kids from pebbleplacedc came to join in.

We hope all had fun..

Look forward to more such opportunities.

A new song “A Modern Creed (This is my faith)” will be released next Friday, 31 July 2026.

This song is the key tenets of the Christian faith set forth in the Apostle’s Creed put to music.

It is not just about our own faith, but it is also for the community as a whole!

When I started my Christian songwriting journey a few years ago, I did what many songwriters before would do, set hymn texts to new music.

For me, I turned to the great lyricist Charles Wesley.

This compilation is my re-imagination of 5 of Wesley’s hymns: 1) Love Divine All Loves Excelling, 2) O for a heart to praise my God, 3) Spirit of faith come down, 4) Christ the Lord is Risen Today and 5) Come Thou long expected Jesus

musicmindgames uses the basis of early introduction so that students will be confident to handle complex rhythms/music early on.

Another highlight from Music Mind Games Unit 2 Teacher’s Training: Key signatures!

Learning ALL (yes, ALL!!) the 7 sharps and 7 flats (which means ALL the key signatures) at one go and how all relate to each other! There is magic in the number 7!

A refreshing way to learning indeed!
