Synopsis
In Singapore, a student movement protesting the genocide in Gaza brings their message into university spaces, confronting both institutional silence and strict limits on public expression. What begins as a symbolic act of remembrance—a quiet shoe vigil laid out in mourning—quickly draws the attention of authorities, placing the students under police scrutiny. As tensions escalate, the film follows the collective as they navigate the risks of dissent, revealing the fragile line between commemoration and criminalisation, and what it means to stand in solidarity within a tightly controlled society.
