Our Barker Campus Little Lights came together in red and white to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday! Dressed in the colours of our nation, our children enjoyed a meaningful celebration filled with joy, pride, and a sense of togetherness.

A special highlight was our K2 Little Lights’ presentation on Singapore’s journey to nationhood. Through their presentation, they shared what they had learned about Singapore’s history and the milestones that shaped our nation today.

These meaningful experiences help our children appreciate Singapore’s heritage while nurturing a sense of belonging, gratitude, and respect for the community they call home.

Our Barker Campus Little Lights came together to celebrate 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆—a joyful opportunity to appreciate Singapore’s rich multicultural heritage while discovering cultures from around the world.

As part of our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), the children explored the unique traditions of 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦𝗔 & 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 through vibrant country booths, music, art, traditional games, and costumes.
Through these hands-on experiences, our young learners discovered that while cultures may be different, the values that bring us together remain the same—respect, acceptance, empathy, and friendship.

From learning about new traditions to sharing joyful moments, our children are growing into 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻-𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱, 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 learners who appreciate the diverse world around them.

What a meaningful day of learning, laughter, and togetherness at BRMC Little Lights Preschool – Vanda Campus as our children celebrated 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆 alongside their mums!
