With over 25 years of experience in the industry, it's safe to say, that Joy Myers is as an experienced tutor as they come. Joy exudes a tangible passion for the English language which is made evident in the way she conducts her classes. “The English language knows no bounds.” says Joy, “And that’s what makes it such an exciting language to teach! English inspires the creativity of thought and allows one to adventurously utilise it to their advantage.”

Since relocating to Singapore from South Africa, Joy Myers has taught the language to countless students across varying levels of ability. She thus understands the nuances which are required to engage students of all levels; from the gentle, loving hand that guides the pre-teen to grasp the simplicities of basic vocabulary, to the inspiring, thought-provoking fulminations which challenge the student to use the language to it’s fullest.

To list all Joy’s experience would be an object of futility as the mountain of work extends as high as the famous Mount Everest, but we shall focus on her most recent vocations: Joy Myers spent the last four years teaching English to the English Primary School Curriculum and PSLE at Central Enrichment Centre in Singapore, she taught Secondary School English to ESL Learners as well as to mother-tongue speakers at St. Francis Methodist School.
