Before there were teachers, classrooms or examinations, there was you. ๐
A parent is a childโs first teacher.
You taught them their first words. You held their hands through their first steps. You showed them how to try again after falling and reminded them that being brave does not mean never feeling afraid.
Now, as your children prepare for PSLE, you are teaching them something even greater:
That their worth is not measured by a score.
That effort matters.
That courage grows when someone believes in them.
To every PSLE student watching this: listen closely to these voices.
These are the people who have known you the longest, loved you the deepest and believed in you from the very beginning. They are not asking you to be perfect. They simply want you to trust yourself and give your best.
When the paper is placed before you, breathe. Read carefully. Think calmly. Take it one question at a time.
Whatever the results may be, you will always be more than your marks and you have already given your parents many reasons to be proud.
Their hands guided your first steps.
Their voices will carry you through these final ones.
Two more weeks. You are ready. ๐๐
