At 42, Muhammad Aidil bin Sulaiman decided it was time to make a career switch.

After 7 years in the security sector, Aidil wanted to learn more about the technology behind the surveillance and access control systems he worked with daily. Determined to upgrade his skills, he enrolled in ITE's SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) in Security Technology.

Despite having no prior background in networking, Aidil persevered through challenging technical modules and built his technical capabilities in networking, surveillance systems and access control technologies. His dedication paid off when he received job offers from industry partners and eventually joined Noble Technology & Engineering Pte Ltd as an IT Field Engineer.

Today, he supports large-scale surveillance projects, helping to configure, troubleshoot and optimise security systems. The career switch has not only opened new opportunities for professional growth, but has also given him better work-life balance and more quality time with his family.

ITE Dance Emblazon 2026, ITE’s signature dance event, returns for its 12th edition, bringing together 11 dance groups from ITE Centre for Music and The Arts (CeMTA) and all three ITE Colleges, in a celebration of our students’ talent, creativity, and spirit.

Inspired by the theme “All Out, in Dance”, this year’s concert reflects life’s journey through moments of growth, challenge, resilience, and triumph. Through powerful choreography and compelling storytelling, each performance captures the courage to step beyond comfort zones, embrace opportunities, and persevere through adversity.

This year, we are introducing meaningful new elements to deepen the audience experience. One of these is a special feature highlighting inspiring stories of ITE staff and students who have shaped ITE’s culture and exemplify the values that define our community. Through these stories, we celebrate resilience, authenticity, and the power of the human spirit, reinforcing the message that success is not measured solely by achievement, but by the determination to rise above challenges and make a positive impact on others.

More than a dance concert, ITE Dance Emblazon 2026 is a celebration of living with passion, purpose, and authenticity, reminding us that life’s most meaningful moments come when we give our all. As the final curtain falls, audiences will leave inspired to embrace life’s journey with courage, conviction, and heart.

As the built environment and creative design sectors become increasingly digital, the next generation of talent needs strong technical capabilities and the confidence to innovate. ITE is proud to partner with Nemetschek Group in this endeavour!

ITE and Nemetschek have signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration across all three ITE Colleges, focusing on digital innovation, applied learning and capability development for the sustainable built environment and creative design sectors.

Through this partnership, ITE students, adult learners and staff will gain greater exposure to industry-relevant tools, technologies and learning opportunities in digital creative design and visualisation, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD).
