I thank God everyday for making me your mom 💚💚💚

This mother’s day card was all her. She just kept telling me not to look and just give her a green colored paper. (Green is my favorite color). Surprised me 2 days earlier because they had a Parent’s day school event, but all is good no complaints here. 😄

In her defence she actually knows the sign of the cross, both the religious and the symbolic aspect😅 She just got confused with the question because we usually prompt her to do it when asked to lead the prayer.

Lapses in communication are common especially when dealing with children. Their thought process is a lot different than us logical adults. Always help them verbalise their thoughts, feelings and expectations. ☺️

I should have been more clear that “make up” can also mean “to catch up” for missed classes. My bad 😜 She straightened out her expectations and is perfectly fine that there wouldn’t be blush ons and mascara on any of her make up classes. 😁😁😁
