DesignTinkers DesignTinkers recognize the child's unique ways of seeing the world.

DesignTinkers provide fun & nurturing workshops in Art, Design & Architecture; designed to pique curiosity, prompt inquiries, challenge norms, investigate, test ideas and get to unique outcomes through a Design process. We want them to remain inquisitive of what works and what does not in their environment; instilling critical thinking at an early age. By exposing children to design ideas, concept

s and aesthetics, we introduce the Design process as a methodology to problem solve and be creative in finding solutions. We provide opportunities for children to collaborate in teams, foster learning through tinkering with open-ended materials to stretch their creativity. There will be no instruction manuals to follow, no tests to score, no exams to conquer and no screen time. DesignTinkersKidz are free to make mistakes, learn from them and through this process, develop their creative abilities and confidence.

Join us as we dive into another season of hands-on exploration in Design & Architecture. From creative problem-solving and model-making to designing objects like marble run structures, airborne vessels and lamps, our young designers will learn by doing, building and imagining.

We love hearing our students share the stories behind their creations ✨ and seeing their ideas come to life through thoughtful design, creativity, and care. 😍

Here’s our student sharing his Happy Monkey Sanctuary 🐒 designed out of his love for monkeys, as a space where he can learn about them and stay close to them.

At our 2-day Design an Animal Sanctuary Holiday Camp, students learn to conceptualise, plan layouts, and build their own sanctuary designs tailored to the needs of animals. Through this process, they discover how thoughtful design can create spaces where both animals and people can thrive together.

Our popular hands-on Design & Architecture Holiday Camps will be on for Jul-Aug School Holidays! 🎉
Designed for children aged 7–12, our thematic holiday camps run from 1 to 5 days and are available at:
📍 The Flow @ East Coast (our NEW home from June)
📍 Agora Colearning @ HarbourFront Centre

Through guided projects, children will learn to design, plan, ideate and prototype while exploring real-world topics such as sustainable, climate-responsive design and how the spaces we live in shape the way we feel and interact. They will also be introduced to materials, spatial thinking, and how technology is shaping the future of our built environment.

More than just making, students develop critical thinking, creativity and the confidence to express their ideas, skills that go far beyond the classroom.

Get them ready for a future full of exciting, undiscovered possibilities!
