For the month of April, students from Media Arts Academy PTE LTD did a multi-track recording of the Purple Symphony Orchestra during their weekly rehearsal sessions.

Learning the importance of polar characteristic of microphones available to managing the DAW to perform this task are one of the few learning points in our Live Sound Production Course.

We are grateful to kickstart our first event of the year with Mummy's Market. Our setup this time consists of 2 projector screens and a live feed camera for demonstrations during certain segments of the presentation. By pairing an experienced technician with our trainees, this event gives us the opportunity to let our trainees have more hands on experience while ensuring a quality delivery of service at the same time.

Our training studio is almost ready, watch this space as we begin rolling out fresh courses for the new year. We are excited to start the new year with a great one and we hope you do too.

At Ark Media Academy, we believe in hands on experience! Our trainees will be paired with an experienced technician to guide them during projects and live shows with our partners. Here is a behind the scenes shot of the point of view a trainee can expect to see.

We have been busy with renovation to our new training studio. Meanwhile our trainees are getting busy with projects with Show Productions PTE LTD.

This particular project showcase our student application of lighting fixtures using the Avolite Quartz console.

Coupled with haze effects, the lighting beams were highlighted and more pronounce for the audience.

Building a one of a kind live streaming experience with National Junior College Pre-University Seminar 2022. For this project, our crew work towards a multi-room transmission of audio and video. A multi camera solution was also deployed to take visual of both on-stage and off-stage activities.

Catch Instructor Dinie Said leading a job training exercise today, integrating 2 X VMIX systems across 2 rooms ensuring communication and interaction between both venue.

This time round, we work with HDFX Pte Ltd, an event management company to fulfill their client Annual General Meeting.

Industry placement is always our top priority. Today, 2 of our students are attached with course instructor Ariffah to conduct a 3 way breakout session recording.

The project requires a project manager, camera operator and an AV technician.

Whilst the project manager caters to the needs of the client, the camera operator ensure steady framing shots are taken to facilitate the dialogue; the av technician caters to the audio and lighting tone of our talent.

Above all, the facilitation of the entire experience have to be fun and professional for the client.
