We love AES’ English Language and Literature Program which aims to develop students’ competency in the English Language, by cultivating a life-long habit of reading and the ability to communicate proficiency and confidently such that they not only become confident users of the language but also show appreciation and love for it.

AES’ Applied Learning Programme (ALP) is titled SPeak English with grAce and Knowledge (SPEAK).

Established in 2015, the SPEAK programme aims to develop confident and eloquent communicators who can articulate their thoughts and opinions well.

This ties in nicely with the recent changes English Oral examinations this year.

Congratulations to our NPCC cadets for being awarded SPF-NPCC Badge at the SPF-NPCC BADGE PRESENTATION CEREMONY 2023.

The 2 cadets who received the invitation are Joweena Ang from 4/3 and Othello Chiu from 4/1.

Wonderful to expose the students to theatre and meaningful for them to relate to their literature text.

Our Secondary 2 students attended their first theatrical experience this year with the play 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas'. This is the text that our students are reading for Literature so it was definitely an enthralling event to watch the characters come alive on stage!

As part of the commemoration of our 70th Anniversary and in conjunction with International Friendship Day, we are excited to introduce the Asian Young Leaders for Human Fraternity (AYLHF) - a youth impact initiative by AES.

The AYLHF is inspired by the Human Fraternity landmark document, launched by Pope Francis and Ahmed el-Tayeb, Grand Imam of al-Azhar in 2019. The AYLHF aims to facilitate communication and connection among young leaders in Asia, with the ultimate goal of promoting mutual respect and understanding, regardless of race, language or religion.

As such, we are glad to have guests of 5 schools from 3 countries to join us for this occasion.

Through the AYLHF platform, we hope to foster the development of strong bonds and friendships among young leaders and promote the importance of building human fraternity.

With that, we will be launching the AYLHF website officially 30th March 2023.

Congratulations to our AES basketball girls! It's a win! 🥳🥳🥳

These girls had won 3 games out of 4 game! Well done!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Our softball girls put up a good fight and showed great sportsmanship.

Everyone tried their best. One of players got injured trying to tap a player out and had to be wheelchaired off the field.

They gained great experience and can do better in their next game 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

They played against Bedok Green and beat them 24:8.
