In our fast-moving world, we often forget that true growth requires time, space, and a patient journey. Our concert, “A Journey from Small Repertoires to Masterpieces,” is created to remind us of exactly that.

Led by the AMS Teaching Artists, this concert with lecture-recital inspired setting reveals how musical understanding develops step by step — through thoughtful repertoire progression, performing experience, and deep pedagogical insight. From Burgmüller’s L’Arabesque to Chopin’s Fantaisie-Impromptu and Takemitsu’s Rain Tree Sketch, you will witness how simple beginnings evolve into expressive and complex works. This in-depth exploration mirrors the very process that nurtures a lifelong musical journey.
