🇸🇬 61 years of Singapore. 61 years of a journey built by many.
Singapore’s story has always been one of people — people who stepped forward, took responsibility, and chose to build something better for those who would come after them.
At Explora, we are proud to play our part in that journey.
Through the experiences we facilitate, we support our partners as they invest in their people, equipping their leaders with the perspective, resilience and shared understanding needed to serve Singapore and its people.
We may not be the ones shaping policy or making the decisions that move our nation forward. But we are privileged to stand alongside those who do.
And perhaps that is what nation building is about. Each of us contributing in our own way, to a Singapore that will be stronger, more united and full of possibility for the generations ahead.
Happy 61st Birthday, Singapore. 🇸🇬
Here’s to the people who built this little island, those who carry it forward, and those who will shape what comes next.

When people think about adventure filmmaking, they often picture the end result—a drone sweeping across a mountain ridge, a kayak disappearing into the morning mist, or a climber standing on a summit after hours of effort. What they don't see is everything that happens behind the camera. The early

One of our favourite photos from this year’s River Kwai expedition taken by
During a 35 kilometres rafting expedition, we happened to be at the right place at the right time. For the first time, the train passed this bend as our rafts drifted below, creating a moment none of us had experienced before.
Even though the expedition still had a mission, and there was still work to be done, for a brief moment, everything slowed. Paddles rested, conversations faded, and everyone looked up to take in a scene that lasted only seconds.
Sometimes, the most memorable parts of a journey are the moments that remind us to pause and appreciate where we are before moving on.

Food has always been social, but social media has changed how we engage with it. Meals are photographed, shared, reviewed, and recommended. Cafés become content, and food has become a frequent topic of conversation. Yet amidst all this attention on eating, there is relatively little discussion abo

Some moments make the programme. Others make the programme possible.
Trainees crossing the old Death Railway above the ravine. An old tractor waiting quietly at the trailhead. Paddles moving through the River Kwai just as the train passed alongside the elevated track and everything aligned for a brief moment.
A blurred frame of trainees in motion.
And another of a rider passing through K Town.
At first glance, it feels unrelated.
But that ride happened outside the pharmacy, replenishing medical supplies before the next group arrived. One of the many small movements that rarely make the highlight reel.
Back at basecamp, Explora staff prepared ropes, checked gear, and readied the river.
Because every expedition is built twice. Once in the experience itself. And once in the quiet work beforehand.
Crossings. Preparation. Motion.
And somewhere in between all of it, these rarely seen moments, caught on camera.

Over the past few months, our intern got a taste of adventure with Explora. Today, she stepped over the edge and abseiled 10 metres down into a cave.
More than the experience itself, it has been rewarding to witness her transformation, growth, and quiet confidence develop along the way.
Thank you for being part of the Explora team. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours. Keep exploring, keep growing, and keep saying yes to new adventures.

Working as Explora’s official media management and production partner has allowed me to experience some incredible moments. Watching the first light break over a campsite. Following teams as they navigate unfamiliar terrains. Capturing the quiet moments, the laughter, the challenges, and the stori...

Join us in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, as we scout new mountain trails, explore a breathtaking 70 metre cave abseil, and piece together the foundations of an Experiential Leadership Training programme.

From technical safety systems to raw moments on unforgiving terrain, this is the unseen work behind every expedition experience we create.

Black and white felt right for this recce.
Without the distractions of colour, what remains are the raw unfiltered moments. These images strip the journey down to its essentials. Just the team, the terrain, and the process of building something meaningful from the unknown.

Behind every step of this recce was the team from Explora Thailand, whose knowledge runs deeper than any map.
They did more than guide us. They shaped every decision with instinct, experience, and a deep understanding of the terrain. From navigating untouched trails to ensuring safety in unpredictable conditions, they gave us the confidence to push further.
Through them, we did not just explore the landscape, we learned how to read it, respect it, and design programmes grounded in real conditions.
This expedition is not built alone. It is forged through partnership, trust, and true ground mastery.
