SMU Accountancy graduate Kunal Doshi discovered his interest in crypto during his second year in the School of Accountancy. Today, he finds his background in accounting highly relevant to his current role in a crypto firm, and the soft skills gained in SMU serving him well for his frequent public speaking engagements.

We are proud to congratulate Team SMU DBA who has made history as the first SMU team to complete Gobi-to-West! In addition, our Team was the only team to walk away with the honour of "Model ESG Team Award" - in recognition of their respect for the environment and dedication to sustainability efforts throughout their 58KM trek.
Beyond testing their endurance, Dean of School of Accountancy Liandong Zhang and the DBA alumni also conducted a talk and panel discussion on AI at the campsite. Dean Zhang was also presented the honour of being the flag-off official for the competitive 120KM race.
