Celebrating heritage with purpose
Across nursing homes and Active Ageing Centres, seniors explored heritage-inspired crafts while giving batik scraps a second life through upcycling. Beyond creating something beautiful for their homes, they are learning skills that can be shared and used for a greater purpose, including creating meaningful products that support fundraising efforts for their organisations.
Heritage is not only about preserving the past. It is about creating impact for the future.
2 classes. 60 students. One shared goal: to design for children with empathy and purpose.
Students learnt about sensory needs and modulation, then guided by our framework to design thoughtful, user-centered support for others.
The goal is not to remove every challenge for children with special needs, but to create purposeful support that helps them overcome challenges with confidence.
Our programmes are inspired by cultural art forms such as batik and designed to give new life to fabric scraps through meaningful, hands-on making. Thoughtfully designed for seniors, community groups, and CSR programmes, participants create beautiful and practical everyday items while celebrating tradition, reducing waste, and enjoying a creative experience rooted in culture and purpose.

2025 was a big year for The Little Changemakers.
We launched Qi Qi Boom (QQB) in Feb 2025 and have since reached 1,000+ participants across different communities. We were also honoured to showcase QQB at the raiSE 10th Anniversary.
We grew our CSR programme management work alongside corporates too, reaching hundreds more through meaningful volunteer experiences.
And now, something bigger is happening.
In 2026, we’re launching Training & Consultancy to help organisations design long-lasting impact, not just one-off events, including our Open Village work that brings schools and the community into nursing homes for activities together.
