A big thank you to Mr Gordon Chia, Full Stack Software Engineer at Commonwealth Kokubu Logistics (CKL), for taking the time to share his experiences with our students.

From what a typical day looks like as a software engineer to the impact of AI on the industry, Gordon gave students a glimpse into the realities of working in tech today. He also shared his thoughts on how aspiring engineers can adapt and continue building valuable skills in a rapidly changing landscape.

Sessions like these give our students the chance to learn directly from industry professionals and gain perspectives beyond the classroom.

Today, we welcome a new batch of pisciners to 42 Singapore.
Over the next 26 days, they will embark on a challenging yet rewarding experience that will push them beyond their comfort zones. The Piscine is a journey of learning, failing, trying again, and growing through perseverance and collaboration.

Beyond the challenge itself, what makes the experience truly special is the community built along the way. From supporting one another through obstacles to celebrating small wins together, the Piscine creates connections and memories that last far beyond the 26 days.

To all our pisciners beginning their journey today, we wish you all the best. Embrace the challenge, trust the process, and enjoy the experience.
