In this activity, our N1s were introduced to Lemons! Using our sense of smell, we discovered that lemons has a citrus aroma that smells refreshing and it tasted sour too. We ended the activity by involving our hands in a messy paint lemon stamping! It was such a blast. 🎨✨

Our infants were involved in a peek-a-boo activity! We decorated our picture frames through a messy painting activity! Our teacher then displayed the pictures on the board and we get to enhance our visual tracking, object permanence, and fine and gross motor skills by picking the door open to discover the many faces in a family!

活动目标：视觉、触觉、手指的灵活度、语言和认知能力的发展。 活动材料：画纸、三种颜色的染料。 活动步骤：1）准备一张白色的画纸，把婴幼儿的一只小手臂和手掌用画笔描绘出形状，做为树干。 2）引导婴幼儿用手掌蘸上颜色，在树干的顶部按压出小手掌的形状。 3）多种颜色的手掌印组成了一颗美丽的大树。 手指画可以让婴幼儿用小手直接接触染料，更好的锻炼婴幼儿视觉和触觉的发展，身体部位做画更容易引起婴幼儿参与的乐趣，更好的加深对身体部位的认识，对画作产生联想，从而达到智力的开发。

这个星期幼儿学习我的五官和身体都有什么本领？鼻子可以干什么？眼睛可以干什么？手脚可以干什么等 。通过活动幼儿在老师的引导下找到相对应的五官，幼儿在老师的帮助下把夹子夹在对应的方框里。

Our infants are beginning to make sense of their surroundings. The connection between the baby in the mirror and the self is the start of an important relationship. These early steps toward understanding their environment and themselves are reassuring for babies. Not only mirror play enhances their gross motor skills, it allows them to develop their visual senses too.

Our very first theme for the month of January is “ I like Myself”. The children learnt about themselves. The teacher placed the photos on the table and asked the children to choose their own pictures . Moving on, the teacher called out the names of the friends and facilitated the children to choose the pictures accordingly . The children were able to recognise themselves and their friends with little assistance. Well done!
