Our Primary 4 Xinminites recently embarked on an exciting, inter-disciplinary journey of Material Exploration — where curiosity sparks creativity and ideas come to life! 💡🔍

Through the dynamic process of MAGIC (Modelling, Analysing, Generating, Integrating, Creating), students strengthened essential 21st century skills while making meaningful connections across subjects — applying science, mathematics, art and language to bring their ideas to life.🌟📚

🧪🔧 In our hands-on Makerspace Education sessions, students became young innovators and problem-solvers — experimenting with heat insulation, exploring materials, and applying science to real-world challenges. Their eyes lit up as they prototyped, tested and improved their ideas! 🌡️🧊✨

💻🤝 From using digital tools to design models, to collaborating closely in teams, our students showcased critical thinking, creativity, and confident communication. They tackled authentic tasks with enthusiasm — designing practical solutions to keep things cool or warm, depending on the challenge! 🧊🔥💭

Our talented Primary 1 to 6 student artists have been hard at work, and we are excited to showcase their incredible creativity through another virtual art exhibition! 🎉 From vibrant colour pencils and markers and creative use of digital art to expressive sculptures and unique costume designs, each piece reflects their artistic journey using a variety of mediums! ✏️🖌️💻

Beyond showcasing their artistic talents, this virtual exhibition also serves as an interactive learning experience where students develop critical thinking skills through specially designed SLS lesson packages! 💻

🤩💫 Xinmin Nightingales’ Debut at the Prestigious ASEANSAI Summit 🎤🌟

“One Vision, One Identity, One Community.” — ASEAN Motto

🎶🎵 Our school choir, Xinmin Nightingales, was honoured to be invited by the Auditor-General’s Office (SAI Singapore) to perform at the opening of the 8th ASEAN Supreme Audit Institutions (ASEANSAI) Summit on 13 November 2025. ✨💫 This year’s Summit marked a significant milestone, as it was the first time SAI Singapore served as host for this key biennial ASEANSAI event. 👏🏻

🌟 The prestigious occasion welcomed 81 delegates from 15 countries, reflecting the spirit of regional partnership and collaboration within ASEAN. We were especially privileged to perform at an event graced by Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, who delivered the Opening Address as the Guest-of-Honour. ✨💫

🤩 It was a memorable and meaningful experience for our young vocalists, who represented the school with pride and excellence. 🎶🌟

Our Primary One Xinminites rocked the stage at the annual Spelling Bee Competition! 💪📚

Fourteen eager contestants took to the stage and wowed everyone with their spelling smarts and confidence! 🌟

After an exciting showdown 🏆, three talented winners proudly took home the top spots 🥇🥈🥉 — but everyone was a champion in spirit! 💖

The energy was electric ⚡ as classmates cheered and chanted for their friends, filling the hall with joy and team spirit 🎉🙌

🌏💬 Voices of Empathy: One Journey, Many Hearts 💖✨

In this meaningful learning experience, our P4 Student Leaders and ISPR students (International Students and Permanent Residents) came together — learning, listening, and leading with heart. 🤝💫

Through “The Prejudice Trail” — a six-station walk around Farrer Park and Little India (including a visit to The Salvation Army Singapore) — students explored powerful stories of diversity, empathy, and inclusion. 🌈

📘 With the help of an interactive reflection booklet, they engaged in thoughtful discussions and heartwarming interactions with migrant workers — learning to see beyond differences and connect through kindness. 💭🤗

Our student leaders stepped up as inclusive role models, showing empathy and fairness while guiding reflections, while our ISPR students shared their unique perspectives — reminding everyone that diversity is our strength. 💪💬

Together, they built a culture of belonging, compassion, and confidence — where every voice matters, and every leader shines. ✨🌟

Our 5th mascot is lovingly designed by Xavierra Jazzelle Widjaja of Primary 3C. 💞💖💝

Owly reminds us that integrity is doing what’s right — even when no one is watching. 👀 With wise, watchful eyes, Owly nudges us to be dependable — honest and consistent in our words and actions so others can trust us. 💫 Owly also teaches us to pause and think carefully before we act, choosing what is fair and right. 💪🏻
