๐From textbooks to the real world, our Sec 2 CHAMPS students hit the ground running along Stamford Canal with Yong the Urbanist during their recent learning journey!
๐After nine sessions of research and discovery, our students finally got to experience the canal firsthand, uncovering how this waterway played a key role in shaping Singaporeโs urban landscape and the Civic District we know today. ๐๏ธ
๐ฃGuided by Mr Yong, our students explored the stories behind historical landmarks, hidden relics and even the origins of โMajulah Singapura,โ gaining a deeper appreciation of the spaces and narratives that define our nation. ๐ฃ
๐It was indeed an enriching experience that brought history, urban design and storytelling together in a truly meaningful way!

As part of this yearโs Tapestry, our Drama Club took us on an emotional and nostalgic journey in the school auditorium with their performance, โThe Heart is Where Home isโ. ๐ขโจ
Our talented performers beautifully captured how Singaporeโs housing landscape has evolved over the decades. They reminded us all that while our surroundings change from kampungs to high-rise HDB flats, the things that truly matterโsustainability, the joy of play, the value of time, and our care for the environmentโremain at the core of who we are. ๐ฟ๐ฐ๏ธ
A huge congratulations to the cast, crew and teachers-in-charge for pouring their hearts into this production, and a big thank you to everyone who came out to support! ๐ฌ๐ฅ
