Whyte Labs is pioneering a unique approach to robotics education, teaching young children how to build their own cool robots, completely from scratch, and equip anyone with an idea with the tools and confidence to bring their own visions to life!

To our wonderful community,

After four incredible years of creativity, learning, and connection, Whyte Labs will be dissolving at the end of 2024 as the founders, Aditya and Jeremy, prepare to embark on their own unique journeys.

This is not goodbye—it’s the beginning of two exciting new paths. Over the years, Whyte Labs has been a space for kids to express their creativity, explore robotics, and grow holistically. As our visions have evolved, we’re keen to deepen this work individually, through our own unique ventures.

Aditya will continue working with his students while deepening his focus on whole-child education - weaving robotics and engineering with emotional well-being and holistic learning, with an emphasis on nurturing creativity, presence, and personal growth.

Jeremy will continue to guide his students in robotics and innovation, empowering them to bring their ideas to life and address real-world problems either through robotics competitions or independent exploration.

Our new ventures are still taking shape, and we’ll share more by year-end. For now, we’re committed to a smooth transition for our students and their families.

✨ Final Holiday Camps: December 2024
This December marks the final season of Whyte Labs’ holiday camps. If your child has been curious about joining, this is the last chance to experience the magic.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support has inspired everything we’ve built. Stay tuned—we can’t wait to share what’s next!

With gratitude,
Aditya & Jeremy
Co-Founders, Whyte Labs

I had an amazing time working with J and A on this lightsaber project. When I first introduced them to some of our previous night lamp builds, they weren’t too thrilled. So, I asked, ‘What would interest you?’ As soon as I showed them a video of a lightsaber project, they were instantly hooked!

Since then, they’ve been coming to class full of excitement, eager to learn and build. Through this project, they’ve not only mastered key coding concepts—like using if-else statements to control the lightsaber’s colors with a single push button—but they’ve also learned the basics of wiring electronics and even making custom parts out of cardboard.

It’s amazing to see them create something so unique with just a few components and some creativity. Can’t wait to see what they’ll build next! - Teacher Jeremy

It wasn’t all smooth sailing, but watching these kids grow and put their skills to the test at the competition was a surreal experience. From countless hours of brainstorming and building to facing setbacks and moments of doubt, they never gave up. They’ve come such a long way, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything they’ve accomplished!

This was also our first time participating in WRO, and I must say, the atmosphere was truly inspiring, and it was amazing to see so many creative ideas come to life. What stood out most to me was the emphasis WRO places on learning above all else “win or lose, the journey is what matters.” Hats off to the team at WRO for fostering such an incredible environment.

Stay tuned as the boys gear up for the WRO International Finals in Izmir!

If all this sounds like something you or your child is interested in, we’re looking for more members to join our journey! Drop us a message—we’d love to hear from you! 🚀

There's something about cars, that has always captured the human imagination. Now, we loved playing with RC cars as kids. But after a while we'd get bored of playing with the same old design.

And so at Whyte Labs we thought, what if kids could modify their RC cars to look like whatever they wanted?

After all, cars come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, from convertibles to monster trucks to SUVs.

We wanted to help kids design their own RC cars, taking inspiration from their favourite designs, and bringing them to life.

And so we're really excited to launch a new program, where kids get to do exactly that - design and build their own RC cars, completely from scratch.

Happening in May, over 4 weeks, this child-led program is a chance for kids of age 7-9, to get their hands dirty, and learn real-world physics and electronics through play, and nurture their imagination through stories.

Details:

📆 May 2, 9, 16 & 23

🕰️ Thursdays, 3:30-6:00PM

📍Whyte Labs HQ @ Novena

🤸🏻For kids aged 7-9

☘️ $490 per child

This program is limited to 6 spots only, to ensure that each child gets the attention and support they need.

Kids often have a lot of ideas - some big, some small. And a lot of emotions - some big, some small. And often might not know what to do with either. And that’s what inspired the creation of this program.

Junior Makers is a weekly program for kids of age 7-9, and is a chance for your child to build devices with their bare hands, bring their own ideas to life, learn real-world physics through play, stretch their creative muscles and cultivate emotional awareness, mindfulness and self-regulation.

It is facilitated by a robotics engineer and a respectful/mindful parent, who together help kids connect with their creativity and navigate difficult emotions in a healthy way.

This program will run weekly on Wednesdays, 3:00-5:30pm, starting Jan 31st, and gives kids space to grow over the long-term.

Registration opens now and is limited to 6 spots only, with 2 facilitators, so that we can ensure that each child gets the attention they need. Sign up here: Here’s the link to register for the Wednesday batch, starting 31st Jan: https://forms.gle/HzHjoXNvCpVjg7qp6

We often share photos and videos of what the kids are upto at Whyte Labs. But ever wondered what the kids themselves have to say about their time with us?

It’s heartening to hear how they see themselves finding a purpose in life, feeling accomplished and grounded in their own dreams and aspirations, and learning that it’s ok to struggle and learn through showing up and trying, again and again

Words aren’t enough to describe how moved we feel, seeing the impact we’re starting to have on young lives, one child at a time :’)
