Sunflower Preschool Bedok Reservoir

A big thank you to all the parents and children who joined us for our "Math is Everywhere – A Number Sense Workshop." Together, they explored fun, hands-on games and activities that showed how maths can be found in everyday life.

From counting and matching to recognising patterns and solving simple challenges, families learnt practical ways to build strong number sense while spending quality time together. It was a wonderful session filled with learning, laughter, and meaningful parent-child bonding.

Our children had a joyful time celebrating Racial Harmony Day by dressing up in traditional costumes and learning about Singapore's rich multicultural heritage. They explored different cultures through stories, games, music, crafts, and hands-on activities while discovering the importance of respect, kindness, and appreciating one another's unique traditions.

It was a meaningful day filled with laughter, learning, and friendship as we celebrated the diversity that makes Singapore so special.

Our children had a meaningful and enriching learning experience during the Singapore Red Cross Junior visit to our centre. Through engaging storytelling, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities, they learnt about the important role of the Singapore Red Cross, gained basic first aid knowledge, and practised simple bandaging techniques.

A special highlight of the session was meeting Carrie, the Red Cross mascot, which brought smiles and excitement to the children. They also enjoyed working together to practise their bandaging skills, fostering teamwork, compassion, and confidence.

This memorable experience encouraged our young learners to appreciate the importance of helping others, showing kindness, and staying safe in everyday situations.

🌊 Learning Journey to the Singapore Oceanarium 🐠

Our children enjoyed an enriching learning journey to the Singapore Oceanarium, where they participated in the engaging "A Plastic Tale" educational programme. Through interactive storytelling and a guided tour, they gained valuable insights into the impact of plastic pollution on our oceans and marine life, while learning how simple everyday actions can contribute to protecting the environment.

This meaningful experience nurtured environmental awareness and inspired our young learners to become responsible stewards of the planet. It also deepened their appreciation for the importance of conserving our oceans and preserving marine ecosystems for future generations.

🏛️ Art & Family Tour at the National Gallery 🏛️

Our children had an enriching learning experience at the National Gallery Singapore through the Art & Family Tour, organised in collaboration with Families for Life. As they explored the gallery, the children appreciated a variety of paintings and sculptures while discovering important family values such as Love, Care, Commitment, and Respect.

Through engaging stories, meaningful discussions, and creative activities, they experienced how art can inspire imagination, strengthen family relationships, and nurture positive values.

It was a memorable day of learning beyond the classroom, where curiosity, creativity, and character development came together in a meaningful way.

🌱🧹 Keep Singapore Clean Movement 2026 🧹🌱

As part of our Start Small Dream Big project, our K1 and K2 children became little environmental champions at Bedok Reservoir! Through a litter-picking activity, waste sorting challenges, and fun recycling games, they learnt how simple actions can help keep our community clean and green.
