🧧🎉Lunar New Year Celebration 2026🧧🎉
What a joyful and meaningful celebration we had at our preschool as we welcomed the Lunar New Year together!
Our children came dressed in beautiful traditional outfits, filling our preschool with vibrant shades of colours. The children learned about Chinese New Year traditions - from the significance of mandarin oranges and red packets, to the meaning behind the zodiac and Chinese New Year songs and greetings.
We enjoyed a festive classroom decoration showcase of fun craft activities, a lively "Lo Hei" experience (prosperity toss) & sharing of festive treats.
It was heartwarming to see our children confidently exchanging greetings and wishing one another a year filled with happiness and prosperity.🥰Sunflower Childcare Group

We welcomed the children back with a warm orientation programme with teachers conducted classroom routines and expectations.
New students participated in settling-in and bonding activities.
Parents attended the Parents’ Orientation session.
Enrichment programmes resumed according to schedule.

Our children have fun, learning in many different ways; individually or in small groups. Fun can significantly improve cognitive functions and retention.
