The Unlikely Team

One of my best moments as a coach in Score Campus is introducing netball to this group of students and families.

This has solidified my belief that sports:
✅ creates space for real connections
✅ reveals character, not just build it
✅ shows that mistakes can cost you, but doesn't define you
✅ transcends race, religion, SES, and more
✅ requires you to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and more

And this is why we've always included SPORTS in our retreats!

Something that we missed out on in Bali in June.

As we approach the end of the year, I'm excited to share more about the retreat that is happening from 14th to 20th December!

includes:

☑️ awesome coaches who can't wait to get their hands dirty
☑️ outdoor activities to get your blood pumping
☑️ serene and tranquil yoga to teach our bodies to calm down
☑️ adrenaline rushing challenges that keep you on your toes
☑️ many, many, many serious conversations that trigger emotions

It'll be through this shared journey do we come together and create bonds that can help us jump over the hurdles of our lives.

It's going to be an awesome December, I can feel it already!

Imagine this: a child who studies tirelessly, always chasing higher grades, yet feels anxious and drained.
Now imagine the same child—smiling, confident, surrounded by friends, knowing that happiness is not a distraction, but the fuel that makes learning and life meaningful.

That’s the heart of .
This 2-day coaching holiday in Sentosa helps kids explore what truly matters to them: building confidence, learning teamwork, and finding joy in every step of growth.

🎯 Because happiness isn’t separate from success—it’s the foundation of it.

Was in a short conversation with an acquaintance about her experience with parents in the preschool she’s working with, and these couple of messages have my 💔 heart break a little because I get it, teachers feel under appreciated sometimes and they just need some of us to tell them they’re doing a great job in the toughest setting possible 🥹

My little 4 year old is in preschool now and I’ve seen how crazy it can get in the classroom. I’ve got one and I’m overwhelmed at times, how does ANYONE deal with 10-15 of them without going bonkers??? Hats off to all of you who willingly take on the challenge of being an early childhood educator.

Whenever we have a family event and parents get to come to school for a couple of hours in the morning, I always dread the leaving part because “one cry all cry” is real!!! The moment a kid decides that he wants his mommy and starts crying, you can bet there’ll be at least 6 others who will cry. And can you imagine the volume and amount of tears at the moment? 🫣🫣🫣

How EC teachers deal with them in that moment? Wow! Wow wow wow.

So to all educators out there, I hope you’re reading this today. You guys are amazing, and wonderful, and have the superpowers of the world in you!! Whether you’re in EC, or lecturing a hundred at a go, or a coach having to work with the madness in this world… YOU’RE 💯!

The Next Level Coaching is mainly for kids and families who are having trouble connecting with each other, and want to work on it!

It’s not just about the academics anymore — we can do that but it’s really only a small part about what we do. We’d prefer to work with parents and kids who want an all-around best.

Mental health? ✅

Physical health? ✅

Social health? ✅

Happiness? ✅

Academics achievement? ✅

The Next Level Retreat is a part of our coaching experience, 7 days 6 nights in Bali, Indonesia. It is not for the faint hearted. And parents are invited!

just me and gaya casually telling every parent there’s a better (happier) way of doing psle

the real question about psle is: what do you want to achieve out of this year?

is it JUST ‘good’ grades? or is there more?

equipping our kids with the right skills and knowledge is one thing… shifting their mindsets (from fixed to growth mindset), that’s a whole other story.

we want to ensure that our kids know that each step they take is a step towards their success, regardless of whether they’re going upwards or they stumble on a rock. as long as they keep moving, they’re growing and becoming better.

building mental resilience isn’t about always doing the right things. it’s always about taking that challenge, lousy or not, just do it only! 🥳

i can’t emphasise who important it is for our kids to be courageous enough to just do ♥️

here’s to raising stronger, happier kids 😎

To the coaches and teachers who has helped me get to where I am today, thank you!

Because what you told me 15 years ago didn’t only make sense until 5 years ago.

Because you helped me out of the kindness of your heart, with no expectations.

Because you saw some light that I didn’t know I had, and you only want me to light that flame.

This time, it’s my turn.

And I am honoured to have had the chance to work with the many students I have. Every year, it’s different faces and different stories.

But one thing remains the same, we’re all looking for safe spaces to be amazing and I want to hold space for those who need.

Coaching is what I do, your smiles is what I love.

All that matters is that our children get a better learning environment where they can thrive and be the best version of themselves.
