This June holiday, our Childcare and Student Care children stepped beyond the classroom and into the community for a meaningful visit to a nursing home.

In preparation for the visit, our children lovingly handcrafted small gifts for each resident. With the guidance of our teachers and the generous support of our parents, every stitch and every detail were made with care and thoughtfulness. ๐Ÿงต๐ŸŽ

Although we are unable to share photos of the residents or the activities due to privacy considerations, the memories remain vivid in our children's hearts. Through simple games, conversations and laughter, they discovered that kindness has no age and that a small act of love can brighten someone's day.

For many of our children, this was a special experience โ€” stepping out of their daily routine to connect with people from a different generation. It was a beautiful reminder that compassion is learned not only through words, but through action.

Together, we are nurturing children who grow not only in knowledge, but also in empathy, gratitude and love for others. ๐ŸŒฟ

Creation C.A.R.E., which stands for Childrenโ€™s Action to Rescue Earth, is a meaningful initiative that inspires children to care for the environment and Godโ€™s creation. The 2026 theme focuses on planting, patience, and growth, helping children learn stewardship through hands-on experiences.

Our children took time to explore, discuss, plant, and carefully create their craftwork โ€” from sunflowers and green plants to a beautiful 3D miniature garden. Through this journey, they learned about teamwork, patience, responsibility, and caring for the world God has entrusted to us.

We are proud that their final craftwork was placed on display at the Creation C.A.R.E. 2026 Public Showcase, held from 22โ€“24 May 2026, at Jurong East, Perennial Business City.

Well done, little ones! Your creativity and care truly blossomed. ๐Ÿ’š

Breaking the cycle of school bullying with kindness sounds simple โ€“ but is easier said than done 17/05/2026

Recent conversations on bullying in schools remind us that creating safe spaces for children goes beyond discipline โ€” it begins with teaching empathy, respect, and kindness from young. ๐ŸŒฑ

This article by The Straits Times shares an important perspective on how breaking the cycle of bullying requires more than rules alone.

At Centre of New Life Schoolhouse, we believe anti-bullying starts with intentionally nurturing children through Social Emotional Learning (SEL) โ€” helping them learn empathy, respectful communication, emotional awareness, and kindness in everyday interactions. ๐Ÿ’›

We define bullying clearly, intervene early and consistently, empower children to speak up for others, and work closely with parents to reinforce positive values both in school and at home.

Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and valued. By shaping hearts early, we hope to nurture a generation that chooses compassion over cruelty and courage over silence. ๐ŸŒฟ

๐ŸŒธ Happy Motherโ€™s Day ๐ŸŒธ

In todayโ€™s ever-changing world, motherhood comes with new challenges and different needs for every child. It is not always an easy journey โ€” and no mother is ever โ€œperfect.โ€ ๐Ÿ’›

But to the little hearts watching you each day, your love, care, patience, and sacrifices mean more than you know. They see it. They feel it. And often, it is the little things you do that shape their world and keep them going. ๐ŸŒฟ

So today, give yourself a gentle pat on the shoulder and be proud of the mother you are. โœจ

From all of us at Centre of New Life Schoolhouse,
we celebrate and appreciate every mum today and always. ๐ŸŒท

๐ŸŽ‰ Celebrating Families Together

On 18 April 2026, Centre of New Life Schoolhouse was honoured to be part of the 3rd Healthy Family Day 2026, organised by Singapore Father School at Marina Barrage.

Our children took to the stage with joyful hearts, putting up a special performance as part of this meaningful community event โ€” a celebration of healthy families and the importance of marriage and parenthood. ๐Ÿ’›

This was also a special way for us to celebrate our own Parentsโ€™ Day, honouring the love, dedication, and support of the families we journey with every day. ๐ŸŒฟ

We are thankful for the opportunity to be part of such a purposeful ground-up initiative โ€” and even more grateful for our children and families who made the day so memorable. โœจ

โœจ Staff Training Day โ€” Growing Together

On 27 March, our team came together for a meaningful Staff Training Day focused on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) โ€” an approach that supports inclusive teaching by meeting the diverse learning needs of every child. ๐ŸŒฑ

It was a day filled with collaboration, creativity, and shared learning. From exploring new ideas together to designing our very own team t-shirts, we strengthened not just our skills, but also our unity and shared purpose. ๐Ÿ’›

We also enjoyed a lovely time of fellowship over lunch โ€” a chance to connect, recharge, and encourage one another.

We are thankful to partner with Little Olive Tree Preschool for this training, held at Foochow Methodist Church.

It was truly a productive, engaging, and memorable day โ€” one that left our team inspired and ready to continue nurturing every child entrusted to us. โœจ

๐ŸŒฟ A little throwback to our March holiday outing!

Our children had a wonderful time visiting Koh Fah Technology Farm, where they got to explore how vegetables are grown right here in Singapore. ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ

From touching and smelling to even tasting fresh produce, it was a hands-on experience that brought learning to life! ๐Ÿฅฌโœจ

What made it extra special?
Theyโ€™re now looking at their greens a little differentlyโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€
โ€”and maybe enjoying them a little more too! ๐Ÿ˜„

Moments like these spark curiosity, appreciation, and a deeper connection to the world around them. ๐ŸŒฑ

โœ๏ธ This Easter, we celebrate a love that brings new life.

Because of Godโ€™s great love, we are given more than forgiveness โ€”
we are given hope, renewal, and a new beginning. ๐Ÿ’›

At Centre of New Life Schoolhouse, this is the heart behind what we do.
The love we have received, we share with every child โ€”
nurturing them with grace, patience, and compassion as they grow. ๐ŸŒฟ

Today, we celebrate not just what was done,
but the new life we are invited to live each day.

Happy Easter ๐Ÿค

Christian preschool leaders gather in unity โ€“ a meeting 10 years in the making 14/03/2026

๐ŸŒฑ Standing Together for the Next Generation

Recently, leaders from Christian preschools across Singapore gathered through the Christian Preschool Alliance โ€” a meaningful meeting nearly 10 years in the making, as shared in this article by Salt&Light.

We are thankful that Centre of New Life Schoolhouse is part of this wider community where preschools come together to:
โœจ share best practices
โœจ support one another
โœจ and remain grounded in Godโ€™s calling to nurture young lives.

At the heart of what we do is a shared desire: to raise the next generation with strong values, compassion, and hope.

Yet the reality for many smaller faith-based preschools today is not easy. As the article highlights:

โ€œRising costs, tightening regulations, manpower pressures and increasing competition have placed many smaller faith-based preschools under tremendous strain.โ€

No single organisation can carry these challenges alone.

๐Ÿ’› We invite you to journey with us.

If you share our heart for children and families, here are ways you can support:

๐Ÿ™ Prayer
Pray for our educators, management team, and our little ones โ€” that they may continue to grow, learn, and be watched over by God.

๐Ÿค Volunteer your expertise
If you have skills or experience that could support our work, we would love to connect.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง Referrals
If you know families in the West who may need Infant Care, Child Care or After School Care for children age 2 months to 14 years old, please share about us.

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ Job referrals
We are actively looking for Student Care teachers who have a heart for Primary School children. If you know someone who may feel called to journey with and nurture young minds, we would love to hear from them.

Together, we can continue to sow hope and nurture the next generation.
