Bringing conversations on Singapore’s public housing directly to the student community 🏡
On 10 July 2026, the SUSS Current Affairs Interest Group (CAIG), in collaboration with the Ministry of National Development (MND) and the Housing & Development Board (HDB), hosted “From Campus to Keys: A Housing Dialogue”, a specially curated engagement featuring an exclusive sharing by HDB, followed by an interactive dialogue and Ask-Me-Anything session with SMS Sun Xueling, Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of National Development and the Ministry of Transport.
We are deeply grateful to SMS Sun Xueling for her insights and thoughtful engagement, and to our partners at MND and HDB for making this meaningful collaboration possible.

On 2 July, CAIG had its first Kopi Talk of the year, which welcomed members to gather in a judgement-free environment to exchange views and discuss the topic, ‘What does the “Right to Die” truly mean, and should euthanasia be legalised in Singapore?’. Embracing diverse opinions is the catalyst for broadening understanding of complex topics and empowering different voices.
We are already planning for the next Kopi Talk of the year, which will include a rather interesting pool of people! Watch this space for the upcoming news!
