❄️ A Winter Adventure at Snow City! 🌍✨

As part of our Around the World term theme, our Little Kidyas embarked on an exciting excursion to Snow City to experience what life in a winter country is like.

Before stepping into the snowy wonderland, our Little Kidyas took part in a hands-on ice cream making workshop, where they learnt about the process of making one of their favourite treats while exploring how temperature plays an important role in creating ice cream. 🍦🍨

With their learning complete, it was time for some snowy fun! From feeling the cold winter climate to playing in the snow, the experience allowed our Little Kidyas to immerse themselves in a unique environment that is very different from sunny Singapore.❄️🥶

Learning comes alive when children can see, touch, and experience the world around them. What a memorable day of discovery, exploration, and fun! ❄️🍦❤️

Another day at Kidya Childcare | Out of School Learning Experience 🚸🚒✨

As part of our Term 2 theme, Our Community, our Little Kidyas embarked on an exciting excursion to the Civil Defence Heritage Gallery.👩‍🚒

The children explored the history, evolution and development of Civil Defence in Singapore through engaging exhibits and interactive displays. They learned about the important roles of firefighters, paramedics and civil defence officers, and how they work tirelessly to keep our community safe.🧯

This meaningful learning journey helped our Little Kidyas develop a greater appreciation for the everyday heroes who serve and protect us. ❤️🚒🚑

Our Little Kidyas became young global explorers as they proudly showcased their Semester 1 project! 🗣

Each of our Little Kidyas represented a country, created a 3D model of a famous landmark, and shared snacks inspired by their chosen culture. From presenting fun facts to exchanging food and stories with friends, the exhibition was filled with confidence, creativity, and curiosity.🌞

Through this meaningful hands-on experience, our Little Kidyas developed their communication skills, cultural awareness, and self-confidence while having lots of fun along the way. ❤️

🌙✨ Hari Raya Haji at Kidya Childcare ✨🌙

Our Little Kidyas had the opportunity to experience and learn more about the meaning behind Hari Raya Haji through a meaningful and interactive session 🕋🤍

Dressed in their Ihram and Jubah, our Little Kidyas were introduced to the journey and significance of Hajj by our special guests, Little Kidyas’ parents, Ustaz Zaid & Ustaz Haziq. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and create such a memorable learning experience for our children 🌟

Through a stimulated Hajj setting with props and guided activities, the children were able to gain a hands-on glimpse into the flow and procedures of Hajj in a Fun, Engaging and Age-appropriate way. Beyond learning about the rituals, the session also encourages values such as Patience, Discipline, Unity and Gratitude 🤲🏻

At Kidya Childcare, we believe meaningful experiences help children understand cultures, traditions and religious practices in a deeper and more memorable way ❤️

This Mother’s Day, our Little Kidyas celebrated the women who hold their world together in the most meaningful way, by piecing together precious memories, one puzzle at a time. 🧩✨

Watching our mummies complete jigsaw puzzles of their little ones’ faces was more than just an activity. It was a reminder that motherhood is about Patience, Love, Sacrifice, and putting together every little piece of a child’s journey with endless care.

Our Little Kidyas stepped out of the classroom and into nature as they explored the letter L through leaves! From walking around the estate to spotting, touching, and collecting different leaves, this hands-on learning experience turned the environment into their classroom 🌿✨

Back in class, the leaves became part of their creative artwork, strengthening Fine Motor Skills, Sensory Exploration, and Creativity while building letter recognition and vocabulary.🔤

Our Little Kidyas had a fruitful day at Gardens by the Bay, discovering the wonders of edible plants through hands-on exploration 🌱. Learning comes alive when little hands explore big ideas!

From roots to leaves, our Little Kidyas learnt to:

🌿 Identify and name the different parts of a plant
🌿 Recognise which plant parts we can eat
🌿 Understand how plants nourish us in our everyday lives

This festive season of Hari Raya, our Little Kidyas stepped into the kitchen to create their very own Kuih Cornflakes, a simple yet meaningful activity 🤍✨

From mixing the honey, scooping the cornflakes, to stirring everything together, every little action builds big skills which is enhancing their fine motor skills of Hand-Eye Coordination & learning to follow simple instructions step by step. 🍃
