Today, we celebrate the teachers who show up, care deeply, and make a difference — often in ways big and small. ❤️

This year’s theme, Strong and Courageous, reminds us that teaching takes both strength and courage: the strength to keep going, and the courage to believe in every child and walk alongside them.

We’re also proud to celebrate our Caring Teacher Award winner, Ms Chan Sew Yoon, whose dedication and heart embody what it means to care for our students and one another. 💛💙

Here’s to the teachers who inspire, encourage, nurture and believe. Thank you for all that you do.

What a week it has been as we slowed down and various parts of the Fairfield community took time to appreciate the teachers and staff of Fairfield.

Thank you parents, students, alumni, board, AMC and HCMC for blessing us!

This year our theme is Strong and Courageous and our teachers received a white stone to signify their work as overcomers.

This is not work they do alone.

They do this work of caring and teaching by the grace and strength of God; and with the wonderful wonderful support and partnership of colleagues and all in the Fairfield community.

Thank you teachers for pouring into the lives of our Fairsians. Thank you all for loving and enabling us to do so.

🎉 Celebrating Our Teachers! 💐✨

Our Teachers’ Day celebration was filled with laughter, music, cheers and plenty of heart! ❤️ From exciting games that brought teachers and students together, to wonderful performances by our Sec 4 bands, the school hall was buzzing with energy and joy. 🎶🙌

Amidst all the fun were meaningful moments of appreciation too — heartfelt videos prepared by our Student Council, and lovely cards and tote bags presented by our Class Committee members to their Form Teachers. 💌👜

A huge thank you to our student leaders for putting together such a memorable celebration, and to all our teachers for the dedication, care and heart you bring to our school community every day. 💙

More blessings today for teachers’ day!

Thanks Aldersgate Methodist Church for brightening up our days and bringing smiles to our faces with the lovely treats! Thanks Cynthia and Ben for co-ordinating the logistics through it all with a smile!

We were doubly blessed by the kids from the ACES programme with their special drinks and hospitality too! It was very refreshing indeed!

☕️ A Special Teacher’s Day Treat! 🌷

Our PiE volunteers transformed the AA into a cosy café, creating a special space for our teachers to enjoy a delicious breakfast together in celebration of Teacher’s Day! 🥐☕️

Thank you, PiE volunteers, for showing our teachers so much appreciation and for making them feel truly valued. We are grateful for the wonderful partnership and support you continue to give our school! 🫶

Today the Vice Principals’ treated the staff to a beautiful spread of handcrafted samosas, colourful nyonya kueh, and a gorgeous ondeh ondeh layer cake. Thank you to our VPs for taking time out of your busy schedules to treat the staff. It’s these small gestures that make our Fairfield family feel so loved. 🧡

Our parents in education truly outdid themselves this year! From the sizzling BBQ spread and snack tables, to hundreds of handfolded origami cranes carrying heartfelt notes fluttering across our staff lounge. Every detail, down to the “Flourishing as one Fairfield” backdrop, was lovingly prepared to remind us how precious the one Fairfield family is.

To our parent who spent hours setting up, planning, and decorating — thank you for going above and beyond. Your generosity fed not just our stomachs, but our hearts. 💛💙

Grateful to be part of a school community that shows up for its teachers like this. 🙏

Thank you HCMC for facilitating today’s Dads@Dover!

Brother Dennis’s words of encouragement stirred something deep for each one of us present as we reflected on how each of our children are God’s gift to us.

Let us not give up meeting together but continue to consider how we may spur one another on along this journey of fatherhood.
