🌊 Student Leaders' Investiture 2026 🌊
From Ripples to Waves
On 26 May 2026, we appreciated our outgoing Sec 4 Student Leaders and welcomed a new generation of leaders into service.
To our outgoing Sec 4 Student Leaders, thank you for the ripples you have created through your dedication, service, and commitment to our school community. Your influence and contributions have made a lasting impact.
To our incoming Sec 2 and Sec 3 Student Leaders, congratulations on your appointment. Remember that every wave begins with a ripple. Leadership starts with the courage to take the first step, and even the smallest actions can inspire others and create meaningful change.
As we embrace this year's theme, "From Ripples to Waves," may our student leaders continue to turn small acts of service into powerful waves of positive impact throughout our school community.

Blackmore Leadership Training Camp (BLTC)
🔥 ACTIVATE 2026 – Purpose • Courage • Action 🔥
On 2 - 3 June, as part of our Sophia Blackmore Leadership Program, our student leaders embarked on a journey that challenged them to step beyond their comfort zones and discover the leader within.
From navigating moral dilemmas and team challenges to conquering the trails of Bukit Timah, students learned that leadership is not about titles—it is about character, courage, and the willingness to serve others.
We witnessed students encouraging teammates when the journey became tough, persevering through challenges, and reflecting deeply on the values that guide their actions. Along the way, friendships were strengthened, resilience was built, and countless moments of growth took place.
The camp culminated in a meaningful feet washing ceremony, where students served one another in an act of humility and respect. It was a powerful reminder that true leadership is not about being served, but about serving others with compassion, courage, and purpose.
As the camp comes to an end, we hope our students leave with more than memories. We hope they leave with a renewed sense of purpose, the courage to do what is right, and the confidence to take action wherever they are.
The camp may be over, but the leadership journey continues—one choice, one action, and one act of service at a time.

Aueralla! What a wonderful wonderful night!
Our guitar ensemble took the night away by tugging at our heartstrings with beautiful and melodious music!
I was especially moved by some of the plucking that attenuated the notes and felt myself challenge to reflect on the notes of my life and the music my life should be playing. Thank you guitar ensemble!
What a way to start the Jun Holidays! Blessed hols all!

We were all encouraged this morning by Mr Eric Loh’s sharing of his parenting journey as we wrap up semester 1 at Dads@Dover!
The reminder to be faithful, to be present and to role model were key strands that stood out for me.
More importantly, the encouragement that God is working and loving us and our families warmed many hearts today.
Thank you for coming to worship, pray and fellowship together. We take a break in June and next meet on 25 Jul. Aldersgate Methodist Church will be coordinating this next session!
See you then and blessed Jun hols everyone!

🌟 Fairfield Make Someone Smile (FMSS) Day 🌟
Yesterday, our Fairfield student leaders stepped beyond the classroom to make a difference through simple acts of appreciation, service, and kindness.
From blessing our non-teaching staff and cleaning shared spaces in school, to appreciating members of the community, transport workers and our valued partners (St John's St Margaret's Nursing Home and Aldersgate Methodist Church), our students learnt that leadership is not just about leading others — it is also about serving with humility and heart. 💛
Students also rallied the entire school community to write appreciation notes during their Journeying Together session, reminding one another that even small words of encouragement can make someone’s day.
A heartfelt thank you to:
✨ Aldersgate Methodist Church staff, for your unwavering support and partnership in the many activities and programmes that bless our Fairfield community
✨ Our school’s non-teaching staff and community members, for all that you do each day, often quietly and behind the scenes.
At Fairfield, we believe that small actions can create a big impact — and sometimes, making someone smile is where it all begins. 😊

As part of Fairfield’s Voice of a Fairsian (VOAF) Tier 2 Programme, our Secondary Two students explored the dynamic field of investigative journalism. Guided by industry veteran Ms Michele Desilva, they learnt how journalists pursue truth through research, interviewing and careful fact-checking. During the hands-on workshops, students stepped into the roles of reporters, storytellers and investigators as they asked thoughtful questions, examined issues closely and made sense of their findings. Through this experience, they strengthened their critical thinking and communication skills, while learning to present their reports with accuracy, clarity and purpose.
